Zoho claims that the data centers for EU are located in Amsterdam and Dublin.

 

In Zoho Mail's GDPR Readiness you can find the information that data centers for zoho.eu are located both in the US and EU (see https://www.zoho.eu/mail/help/zoho-mail-gdpr-compliance.html).


This information is confirmed in "Zoho - Group Entities Details: (see https://www.zoho.eu/privacy/zoho-group.html)

 "All group entities listed below are joint controllers, and in case of hosted services, have the roles mentioned in the table.

Moreover, you can find that "Zoho Corporation participates in and has certified its compliance with the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework with respect to the transfer of data to the US. In Zoho's PP you can also find that "all Zoho group entities listed here have access to the information covered in Part I."

Additionaly, in PP, in "Locations and international transfers" section you can find that "Zoho shares your personal information and service data within the Zoho Group. By accessing or using our products and services or otherwise providing personal information or service data to us, you consent to the processing, transfer, and storage of your personal information or Service Data within the United States of America, the European Economic Area (EEA) and other countries where Zoho operates. Such transfer is subject to a group company agreement that is based on EU Commission’s Model Contractual Clauses."

 

How could you explai that? I am EU citizen. So, where exacly are my data stored and are they transfered to the US?
