Zoho Mail subscription renewal vs Workplace
Hi,
Our Zoho Mail subscription is up for renewal and I understand that we can opt out of renewing as "Zoho Workplace" and retain the features / storage limits that we subscribe to with a plain and simple "Zoho Mail" subscription. This is what I remember reading in one of your blog posts when you introduced Zoho Workplace.
In order to make a decision I looked specifically into Zoho Connect. I fully agree with a post by Corch in the Zoho Connect forum that "The wall feature might be good for teams, but similar functionality is already build into mail and groups". There is a lot of overlap and much of what it offers can be achieved already without using yet another app.
What is a pain right now in Zoho, is sharing with external / non-organisational contacts. I see that Zoho Connect comes in two flavors: internal network and external network. Zoho Workplace claims to come with "fully featured Zoho Connect". But which one?
The only version that would make sense to me is the external network but I doubt that this is what is offered.
Also, I see that Forms features as well as Creator features appear to be built in (please correct me if I'm wrong), but again I suspect that these will only be the most basic features of these applications?
Can you please clarify?
