As June brings the mid-year mark, we're back to share the latest updates for this month with you. Our latest updates for UAE and India are designed to make your payroll processes more efficient, helping you manage your mid-year reviews and adjustments effortlessly.
Let’s explore these new features and see how they can benefit you and your employees.
To integrate: Go to Settings > Zoho Apps > Zoho Analytics. Click Connect and configure preferences based on your needs.
Resettlement Payroll (UAE)
In certain situations, you might have processed the full and final settlement for employees who were exited from their positions without receiving their due compensation. With the Resettlement Payroll feature in Zoho Payroll, you can efficiently process payroll for exited employees who were not compensated at the time of termination without affecting the regular payroll.
Dissociate Employees from a Salary Template
Remove employees from a salary template without altering their existing salary details. This is particularly useful when a salary template needs to be updated but is currently locked due to being associated with employees.
Import Post-Tax Deductions for Employees (India)
We’ve made it easier to manage post-tax deductions of your employees by allowing you to import these details in bulk. You can import the post-tax deductions from the Employees module. This saves time and reduces errors.
Import Deductions for Employees (UAE)
We’ve brought in the ability to import deductions of employees in bulk for the UAE as well.
Additional Filters in the Employees Module (India and UAE)
We’ve added new filters in the Employees module to help you find and manage employee information more easily. You can filter employees based on specific criteria, based on your region.
Filters for India: Work Location, Department, Designation, Investment Declaration Status, Proof of Investments Status, Flexible Benefit Plan Status, Reimbursement Status.
Additional Enhancements for the UAE Edition
We’ve introduced several enhancements to improve the payroll experience for our users in the UAE:
Support for Multiple Establishment IDs: Previously, only one establishment ID was supported. Now, you can manage multiple establishment IDs, which is particularly useful for businesses operating multiple branches or entities.
Enhanced SIF File Options: SIF files can now be generated and downloaded in both .sif and .csv formats, offering more flexibility in handling and processing these files.
Support for Decimal Values: All numerical values in Zoho Payroll now support up to two decimal places for improved accuracy, ensuring more precise calculations and financial reporting.
The MOL ID field is no longer mandatory, simplifying the process of adding employee details.
