July 2026
Process salaries through Axis Bank (India)
Organizations using Axis Bank can now process salary payments through Zoho Payroll. This integration lets payroll teams initiate salary payments to employee bank accounts directly from Zoho Payroll, without switching to a separate banking platform.

This feature is currently available under Early Access. If you want to try it, write to us at
support@zohopayroll.com and we'll enable it for you.
Reimburse EV charging expenses (India)
Zoho Payroll now supports reimbursement for electric vehicle charging expenses. Once the EV Charge Reimbursement component is created under Settings > Salary Components, it can be associated with employees. Employees can then raise reimbursement claims for EV charging costs through the Employee Portal.
Admins can set a default rate per unit for the entire organization under Settings > Salary Components. If needed, this rate can be changed for a specific salary template or for individual employees.

This feature is currently available under Early Access. If you want to try it, write to us at

Add signature images to payslips (India, GCC)
Admins can now upload a signature image to be included on payslips. To set this up, go to Settings > Customisations > PDF Templates > Payslip, select a payslip template, and upload the signature image under Signature Details. Once added, the signature will appear on all generated payslips. This is useful for organizations that require an authorized signature on employee pay records.
Download payslips from draft Full and Final Settlement / Termination pay runs (India, US, GCC)
Previously, payslip downloads were only available after completing the full and final settlement / termination pay run.
They can now be downloaded for employees even when the full and final settlement / termination pay runs are in draft. Admins can now preview or download individual employee payslips from the full and final settlement / termination pay run preview.
Payslips downloaded from draft pay runs include a draft watermark to indicate they have not been finalized.

This feature is also available for GCC organizations under Early Access. If you want to try it, write to us at
support.me@zohopayroll.com and we'll enable it for you.
August 2026
Distribute net pay across multiple employee bank accounts (US)
Admins can now add multiple bank accounts to an employee's profile and configure how the employee's net pay is distributed across them. Allocations can be defined as a fixed amount or a percentage. For example, an employee's pay can be split so that a fixed amount goes to a savings account while the remainder is deposited into their primary account.
Employees can view their configured bank accounts and allocation details through the Employee Portal.

This feature is currently available under Early Access. To enable it for your organization, write to us at
support.usa@zohopayroll.com.
Post employee and employer benefit contributions to separate accounts in payroll journals (All Editions)
Organizations can now map employee and employer benefit contributions to different accounts when posting payroll journals. Previously, both contributions were posted to the same account. This gives finance teams more precise control over how benefit-related entries are recorded in Zoho Books (if integration is enabled).
September 2026
Generate a final settlement agreement form (GCC)
Employers can now generate and download a Final Settlement Agreement Form as part of the employees' exit process. This document formalizes the settlement terms between the employer and the departing employee, helping organizations maintain proper documentation during exits.
Other Enhancements
- Employee Documents and Organization Documents are now separated into two dedicated tabs within the Documents module, making it easier to locate and manage documents. (All Editions)
- A new AI Integrations page is now available under Settings, where admins can manage the AI features enabled for their organization. (All Editions)
- After completing the first pay run, users who have not enabled Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) will now see a setup reminder with a link to complete 2FA through their Zoho Accounts page. (US)
- The Skip Payroll option, previously available in other editions, has been extended to the US and Canada editions for pay runs with no eligible employees to process. (US, Canada)
- Admins in the US edition can now view subscription details and a Billable Usage Summary to review additional charges for a selected period. (US)
- GCC countries have recently introduced new official currency symbols for the Saudi Riyal (SAR), UAE Dirham (AED), and Omani Rial (OMR). Zoho Payroll now reflects these updated symbols in the product and generated PDF documents such as payslips and salary certificates. (GCC)
