Zoho Projects Feature Requests

Good day,

My name is Arman Rousta, and I am the CEO of Blueliner Marketing, with offices in New York City, Hyderabad (India), and Dhaka (Bangladesh). We recently started using Zoho Project to manage our 22 person in-house team, and are considering integrating key vendors and clients into the system. So far, I find Zoho to be the most useful tool and intuitive tool amongst the many that we have used (Basecamp, Outlook, SugarCRM, Replicon, ACT, and @task), which is excellent. I would like to stay committed to Zoho and utilize my own and staff's development/UI experience to help the Zoho products improve.

From one solid week's usage, here are some logical improvements that I feel would benefit the entire community. Apologies if much of this has already been documented or is in the development cue. I promise to actively read and participate in the Projects Forums after making this post and on an ongoing basis.

1. Timer Clock feature is excellent, especially when one can multi-task by clicking on several project/task clocks. Ideally, when I'm in two different clocks for an hour, the time would split 30 minutes each rather than 1 hr each. I'm sure this may be challenging, but it would be most useful.
2. (Timer Clock) When I select "Any User" for a Task, I and others who are assigned to the parent Project should view a Timer Clock next to the task. Right now, clock only shows when particular users are assigned.
3. (Timer Clock) In the "My Home" View, it would be fantastic if there was a view available to Admins and Managers to "View All Staff" (or "View Open Tasks") and/or Individuals and/or Particular Individuals in terms of which Timers are open at the moment. This would give managers real-time perspective as to 'who is working on what right now'. This view can come under "My Log Calendar" or may be important enough to give a third link in the upper left next to My Log Calendar called "Currently Active Tasks" or "Current User Activity".
4. (Time Sheet/Log) In My Log Calendar, it would be ideal if one could sort the view "By Project" as well as "By User" to get an overall view of hours accumulated on various projects. There is no good place to view ALL HOURS by ALL RESOURCES on particular projects and overall.
5. (Time Sheet/Log) In My Log Calendar, it would be good to have the choice for "All Users", so that one can see how man hours (Billable and/or Non-Billable) are being accumulated in a given day-wk-month.
6. (Time Sheet) Same as items 4 & 5 but for the Timesheet view in projects. The ability to select All Users in the Calendar View, and then be able to click on the Day, Wk and Month to drill down for itemized details, would be truly beneficial for consulting companies like ours.
7. (My Home) Meetings summary is great, but it would be nice to be able to click on the meeting, just as one can for Tasks above, to take you to the actual meeting section of the particular Project.
