I am trying to link Zoho Projects to Deals in CRM using the API, but each time, the Deal Contact is added as a Client user and receives an email invite asking them to join the organisation.
These are internal projects and the customer should not have visibility of them or be invited to join the portal.
I just tried to replicate this through the UI and when associating the Project on my test, I could not continue as the Contact did not have an email. I think this proves the point that the integration is trying to force us to have a Contact associated with every project.
I don't remember this happening in the past. I have looked through the marketplace settings and the Projects settings and I am unable to find an option relating to this.
In our case, we create the project in advance via an API call, then use another API call to link the Project and the Deal.
