Zoho Reports iPad Support

Greetings:

I set up  a database and table for one of our employees to use in the field. He can access the table, sort and filter it, but cannot add data to it. If he taps in the search box, the keyboard is displayed and works as expected. However, when he taps on a cell to enter data, the cell get an orange selection border, but the iPad doesn't display its keyboard.

We've tried unsuccessfully: tap, double-tap, tap and hold, and we've looked for an Edit menu item. He has the appropriate share permissions. I am the db creator / owner, but I can't edit the data on an iPad, either. It works fine on my laptop. What do we need to do to enter / edit data into this table?
