Zoho Reports using Data from Exel Spreadsheet or XML file?
My company's main software platform provides revenue and customer reports in the form of PDF, Exel, or XML, but the report formats do not provide any flexilbity for producing a management report that would compare YTD and monthly data this year vs last year. In order to obtain the data I need for my desired management report. I am currently running 30 to 40 reports each month, and I save them as PDF files, then i type in the required data into an Excel spreadsheet that serves as my management report. This is time consuming.
I have considered saving the data as Excel spreadsheets and then referencing the correct cell(s), but the format of the data will change each month.
I am wondering if using ZOHO to produce my management report would be easier than attempting to link the Excel data to an Excel spreadsheet. I am also wondering if producting charts and graphs would be any easier using ZOHO? Or perhaps there is another solution that would be best?
