Zoho Sites - General Feedback

Hi Everyone--

Quick question for discussion: is it me or is working with Zoho Sites like entering the Twilight Zone? I've built many sites over the years, but this platform seems impossible. I've spent an entire day and a half trying to get a simple one-color landing page with one...just one...image. 

If there are resources that will help, that's great. But at the same time, I need to make sure that I'm not about to embark on a curriculum in order to learn a platform that is relatively useless.

Items that I feel like we should be able to do but can't:
  1. create a simple HTML website from scratch
  2. edit sections without 1,000,000 clicks
  3. edit sections without inadvertently adding elements (a hyperlink should be a hyperlink, the entire empty section should not be a button)
  4. edit header & footer elements without custom HTML/CSS  
  5. REMOVE THE CRAZY ZOHO SITES FOOTER BUTTON!
Also, I was having TONS of DNS issues. As soon as I changed the nameservers from Zoho to my Cloudflare account, the site loaded instantly. i.e. Zoho's DNS instructions seem to be incompatible with reality.

In all, I'm flabbergasted and would like to hear your thoughts before I completely jump ship to another hosting service & platform.
