Zoho Social redesigns its one-click solution for your content pipelines

We kick-started this year promising a bunch of cool new features. We are super thrilled to unveil one of them today, and let you know that there's more on the way! So let me  share (*hint hint* *nudge nudge*) what we have today. 
 
Before we get to it, if you're using Zoho Social and not using our browser  extension yet, you might want to get that for your browser before we get to the reveal.  
 
All set? Good. Now, look up! No, not there, we mean on your browser screen! Yes right there.. just a little to the right. Perfect! 



Notice the red-blue-green extension button? Those of you who've already been using this extension will note a difference! Well, because we've given it a head-to-toe makeover. For you, and for anyone who's uninitiated, say hello to  zShare - our newest kid on the block (and on your browser). Yes, its our good ol' browser extension but in an all new avatar. And while its shed the old name and gone from being  SocialShare to this colorful little button on your browser, it also functionally does more now. 

So you know how the SocialShare extension has been helping you curate and share interesting articles on your social media profiles & pages, right from your browser. Without even switching tabs, with just a click of the button you could share content (blogs, articles) or parts of the content (paragraphs, quotes) to your audience. But we didn't want to stop there. 

Besides giving your plugin a prettier icon and a catchier name, we've also expanded its utility. You can now share any image or GIF you find on a page, with your social media audience. That's right, no more 'save-browse-upload' tedium to interrupt your workflow. We know that there's just not enough time in the day, with the millions of mili-second updates out there. So we're prepping you to do more now for your brand's social media activities, right from the comfort of your browser tab. 

How to do this? 

Its simple. Hover your mouse over any image or GIF on a webpage or an article and click on the zShare icon which pops up at the bottom. (Give it a spin, put your cursor over the screenshot image on this post and you'll see what we mean). Clicking on this starts-up your Zoho Social publishing window, with the image ready to be uploaded on the social network/networks of your choice! 
 
What's more, you also get a 'Suggested Images' bar at the bottom of this window.


This pulls out all the media available on the webpage you're sharing from and keeps it ready for you. You don't even have to scroll around and hunt for the next photo. zShare will do all the intuitive duck-hunting for you.
 
Pretty neat, isn't it? Best part, there are more cool features like these coming up in the weeks to come. So stay tuned and keep watching this space! :)
