[Zoho Desk] Follow-up: Show Full Recipient Email Address Display Improvement ?

Hi Zoho Desk Team,

I would like to follow up regarding the recipient display behavior when replying to tickets in Zoho Desk.

Currently, when we reply to a ticket, the To, CC, and BCC fields are combined into a single “Recipients” field.

In addition, when a recipient is shown in the format: John Smith <john.smith@example.com>
Zoho Desk displays only: John Smith  and hides the actual email address.

We would like to know whether there is any setting available to change this behavior.

Specifically, we would like Zoho Desk to provide the following options:

  1. Display the To, CC, and BCC fields separately, instead of combining them into a single “Recipients” field.

  2. Always display the recipient’s full name and email address, for example:
    John Smith <john.smith@example.com> IT SUPPORT<it.support@example.com>
instead of displaying only: John Smith, IT SUPPORT

  3. Provide an option to prevent Zoho Desk from hiding the recipient’s email address.

This behavior creates a practical problem for our daily work.
For example, if we send an email to: IT <a@domainA.com>, IT <b@domainB.com>
Zoho Desk displays only: IT , IT

This makes it impossible to immediately identify which company or domain each recipient belongs to.

At the moment, we have to click each recipient bubble individually just to reveal the actual email address. This becomes very inconvenient when there are multiple recipients.

Another issue is that whenever we need to copy email addresses for further use,
or simply verify that the email addresses are correct, we have to open each recipient bubble one by one.

There also does not appear to be any option to copy all recipient email addresses to the clipboard at once.

It would be very useful if Zoho Desk could add a feature such as:
“Copy To addresses to clipboard” or “Copy recipients to clipboard” for the To, CC, and BCC fields.

This would make it much easier and faster to review, verify, and copy recipient email addresses without having to open each recipient bubble individually.

We would strongly appreciate it if you could coordinate with your development/product team regarding these improvements.

This issue has been affecting our daily workflow for quite some time, and as far as we can see, the behavior has remained unchanged.

Could you please let us know if there has been any progress, planned improvement, or roadmap update regarding this feature?

Thank you for your consideration and support.

Summary

  1. Separate To, CC, and BCC fields
Do not combine them into a single “Recipients” field.

  2. Display the full recipient information
    Show: John Smith <john.smith@example.com>
instead of showing only: John Smith

  3. Do not hide the email address
The email address should always be visible without requiring additional clicks.

  4. Make recipients with the same display name distinguishable
    For example:
    IT <a@domainA.com>
    IT <b@domainB.com>
instead of displaying only IT, IT.

  5. Reduce the need to click each recipient bubble
Currently, users must click each bubble individually to view the actual email address.

  6. Add a “Copy all email addresses” feature
Allow users to copy all recipient email addresses to the clipboard at once.

  7. Allow copying by recipient type
    Ideally, provide options such as:

    • Copy To addresses
    • Copy CC addresses
    • Copy BCC addresses
    • Copy all recipients
  8. Make it easier to verify recipient addresses
Users should be able to quickly review and confirm the domain/email address before sending a reply.

  9. Improve usability for multiple recipients
The current behavior is inconvenient and time-consuming when handling tickets with many recipients.

  10. Request an update from the Product/Development Team
Please advise whether these improvements are planned, under development, or included in the Zoho Desk product roadmap.
