the zsc key or email address entered is incorrect. please enter again.
By mistake, we changed the ZSC key on CRM, the sync on Books got problem. Pls. advise how we can update the key on book integration? we tried to click enable integration, but it pops up with error "the key is incorrect, pls reenter the key..", but where and how to enter the key? Jack

Need Payroll To Be Excluded On Income & Expense Reports
Hi. We have a very small company with only two people and would like to only show our expenses and income and not our payroll expense; as there are days we don't get paid. Having this said we would like to use the income and expense reports as a basis to determine our salaries without them being displayed as an expense still. Any ideas?
Importing Invoices in Books
Greetings, I'm currently working on integrating/merging Books + Subscriptions with a custom third-party billing application via API, and need to import several thousand customers, and close to 100,000 invoices. Importing customers via CSV works fine, but when I import invoices via CSV, it duplicates all the existing customers, and then adds the invoices to the "new" customer. converting sales orders to invoice
I run a business buying and reselling parts -we send a quote - my customer sends a PO - we raise a sales order and send them a confirmation (I put their PO number in the reference field) - we send the invoice when I ship the product what I see is that when I convert from a sales order to an invoice a) the customer PO number does not get put on the invoice- and also b) on the invoice there is a reference for PO number, but this number is actually my sales order number am I missing something here-

Hi Folks, We are new users to Zoho Books and our Accountant has raised a Year End question that we haven't been able to find definitive answer to so we'd appreciate your help please. Will we be able to access all data, including saved documents, for prior years? Currently we are attaching scanned invoices, receipts, etc., to transactions and then destroying the original. How to record recurring credit card payment?
I purchased some equipment for my business on a credit card which carries 0% interest for 12 months. I recorded this purchase in the appropriate account as an expense. Now I'm trying to set up either a Recurring Bill or a Recurring Expense to reflect that I need to pay a specified amount each month. To make the math simple, let's say that I purchased $1200 worth of equipment and I need to record a $100 payment each month for 12 months. What's the best way to reflect this payment in Zoho? Invoicing in multiple currencies
Hello there, I have 2 questions: 1) Can I generate invoice in multi-currencinces? I mean the invoice should include the item's price in the base currency along with the equivalent of the 2nd currency. 2) If i linked a PayPal account and after a while I changed my PayPal setting (from PayPal site) like changing the primary card, does this need an update from zoo books or nothing to updated? It seems like this can't be categorized as Owner Draw, instead only expense or bill payment. How should you handle someone accidentally spending say in a grocery store using their business credit card?

Tax Label Duplication
I have tax item called VAT14.5 which i used add manually at the time of item creation. Now I am importing items using the csv template. In the sheet I list tax name as VAT14.5. When I do this a new duplicate tax label of VAT14.5 is getting created rather than using the existing VAT14.5 So sometimes, an invoice has two VAT14.5 rows. How do I resolve this?
Invoice Export
Is there a way to limit the date range of exports? Monthly we need to generate a quick report showing all the invoice details in a spreadsheet. The Export capability by default exports the entire invoice history. To date we've been using this approach and then manually deleting all but past month entries out of the spreadsheet. The issue we just faced when trying to generate our report for September is that the output spreadsheet now cuts off at 10,000 lines. We're missing our most recent data.
Associate Books Customer with existing Stripe Customer for Auto-Charge
We have hundreds of customers already entered into Stripe. Books creates duplicate Stripe entries if we re-enter the info in Books for auto-charge. Is there a way to associate a Books customer with an existing Stripe customer? Maybe you can add a field in Stripe where we can enter the Stripe customer key.. We can't use the system with it creating duplicate Stripe accounts as it creates a management problem.

Is it possible to have more that one "cost of goods sold accounts"
We sell goods that require multiple subcontractors to finish the each job. Is it possible to have multiple "cost of goods sold" instead of just one. We would like to set up multiple COGS for example: one for materiel and one for each subcontractor we hired to complete the job. That way we could generate 1099 reports for each subcontractor. We want to accomplish this so that all of the COGS are still showing up as COGS in profit and lose report. Is this possible?
Sorting Items in Zoho Books

Hey there, I'm using Zoho Books and some of my users use it in spanish since we do business in Peru. One thing I'm noticing is that Invoices and Bills are both called Facturas. While this does make sense in that you can both receive and send out a "Factura" it causes some confusion when two menu items are the same name only distinct by a marginally different icon. My question is there anyway one can modify to names of modules "Facturas" >> "Facturas Salientes". I'm not entirely sure what is best,
Limited Number of Delivery Addresses on Purchase Order
Hi, I am pleased that the new Zoho Books has a Purchase Orders function. I am just starting to use it. However, it looks like I can only have 3 delivery addresses. We have one main supplier and ship directly to many different addresses. Can the delivery address be linked to a customer - or just open the number of addresses? Any work around? Thanks, Allison

Exchange rate in opening balance
Dear, My base currency is AED, and in opening balance I want to put CNY (Rate: 1 AED = 1.66 CNY) So the exchange rate shall be around 0.5995 But when I put 0.5995 into the exchange rate column, it just changes automatically to 1.0 Could you tell me how to solve this problem?

COGS with Banking
Hi there, I'm not sure if I captured the COGS correctly but the issue now my banking balance is mismatched. Here is my scenario: My bank balance was $100 and sale made & customer payment received with $50 The COGS is $10 so I recorded an expense (COGS) of $10 my bank balance should be $140 but my issue now the balance is $130 (as the COGS value is become duplicate since the system shows that bill has been generated for vendor to be paid so I recorded the vendor payment and my balance become less

How Can I get the invocie total to match my deposit amount
I imported a large number of invoices to match to my bank transactions but the total for the depoist and the associated invoice is always a few cents off. In excel the total amount is correct. As shown below. In Book the Total for all of these invoices is $1801.94. Im sure this is a rounding issue but I can't seem to figure out where it is coming from. So I have to make a small adjustment to one of the invoices to get the deposit amount to match correctly

What is the Scenario for Returning an Item that was paid in cash in ZOHO Books?
Hello, So I have a customer who bought some items from me and paid in cash and the invoice is now closed and marked as paid, but then he comes back to me to return some of the items he bought, how to do this in ZOHO books? I cannot use credit note as the payment was in cash, and I cannot apply credit note to closed invoices anyways. Custom Fields in Zoho Books, not showing up on the invoices
Hi I have added custom fields through the "Organisation" settings, and it was working fine. Then I added two custom fields through the "Custom Fields" settings, which are working perfectly fine. but now the "Organisation" custom fields are not showing up in my new or old invoices. I have tried to remove the "Custom Field" settings again, but that does not change anything. I have also tried different invoice templates, but with the same result.
