Delete / add rows to subform based on user input
Hi Zoho, I have a form with a subform. In case the user is changing (on edit mode) the input for one of the fields in the main form, I need the subform to be cleared - to have all the rows deleted, and to add just one row with specific values. in other cases I need to add a (changing) number of rows based on the user input. Scripting Clear Subform_Name does not seem to do the work. Help please? Thank you Ravod
Approval Workflow -- completed tasks not showing for Approver.
When using the Approval Workflow, as the Approver, i can see the Pending Tasks, and can Approve or Reject them. But then I cannot see them in the Completed Tasks. The user that submitted the task is able to see them in the Completed Tasks, however. I thought when I first tested this, i could see them as the Approver, but I have no idea what changed. Anyone have any ideas what could cause this? Thanks!
Zoho Creator -> Custom Function Update Multiple Fields
Hi is it possible to create a custom function to update muiltiple fields on : - main form - within subform main form example:- - main form has A,B,X,Y,Z fields - any changes to the X or Y would automaticlly update Z,A & B - right now i use "on edit" on both X and Y - was wondering whether there is a better way for both X and Y to call a cusom function. similar example can be used to refered to a subform row. a simple example would be appreciated. thanks

How do I assign a numeric value to drop down field choice?
{EDIT] i meant to post this in the Zoho Creator forum.... I am using a drop down field to record the status/outcome of a record and need to assign a value depending on which status is chosen. If the status is Sold, Proposal or Cancelled, I need the value to be 1, or if the status is Assigned or Reset, I need to value to be 0. This value will be input into another field in this form, which will be summed and used in a pivot report.

I have an app where I am storing a specific activity. Attached to that activity (using a subform) is any hazard that is found while doing the activity (1:n). So it's a one to many relationship between activity and hazard. Once those are stored, later we are doing some evaluation of each hazard. I need to store multiple evaluations against a hazard (1:n). So, it looks like: Activity 1 - (using a FORM) Hazard A - (using a SUBFORM) Evaluation x - (using ????) Evaluation y Hazard

Followed all the subform help pages and forum discussions I could find and still struggling to get a simple main form with linked subform data import to work. Been working on this for a few weeks now. KPI Indicator in Creator Page Panel - red/yellow/green

Generate new number (+1) on duplicate record

I would like a very simple math app that could be placed on my website that a visitor could enter their data and get an instant result. ie a +b+c divided by d multiplied by e = The answer. the user enters their known data for each specifically named category abcd, so the only unknown is the answer. 4 + 7 + 9 / 8 x 6 = ? Non-Profits discounts
What discounts if any does Zoho offer non-profits? Salesforce offers ten free enterprise level licenses for US non-profits who can verify their 501(c)3 status. That is really hard to beat. I would love to stay with Zoho, but unless there is a significant discount given to our non-profit we are switching our campaign and app building to Salesforce. The free Zoho Plan, while convenient, has limits that we are running into. And I can't justify the cost of the current plans to my non-profit board.

Creator with integration field to CRM Contacts (or leads,etc)
Hi. I am still struggling with this issue. I have an Integration field on a creator form, which is linked to the Zoho CRM, Contacts module. It is providing a list of emails from different though it does not matter what field I am looking to use for the selection.) The dropdown list for this integration field will never return the complete list of contacts (emails from the CRM). CRM Contacts and Zoho Creator
I would like to link one of my forms with a contact in CRM. I've made an Integration field but it let me show only one field, so I've choose Last Name. Unfortunatelly it's not enough to identify a contact. I also tried to make a custom field in CRM with a formula containing both First and Last Name, but it seems Zoho Creator doesn't let me to use custom fields on Integration fields. Any other idea will be welcome, thanks in advance!
merging records
hello I have a requirement that sometimes more than 1 person will record the same incident, I want to link these records or merge them and use the first record as the main one with the other records linking to it. long number show as 2.98342E+18 on exports!
Hi Zoho, On a form I have a field containing a long number (like the Zoho ID). when exporting the form to CSV, it looks like 2.98342E+18 and all the last digits become 0000 (it rounds it up....) how can I prevent this? thanks Ravid
How to open a selected form, from a report window using script on a specific button click
Hi, I am developing a sales management app. I have New_Purchase_Order form and All_Purchase_Orders Report. I want to add a status change button which will change the status of the selected form. But at a time I need to input some details based on the status. So I need that selected form to open in edit mode while clicked on "Change Status" Button. Please suggest the best way to do it. Strange problem (bug?) with drop down
I have a dropdown field in a form which contains 10 choices but when I access the form only 8 are showing. Even stranger, when I mix up the order of drop down items, I still can only see 8 but the ones that are showing change. Is this a bug? Any ideas?

I have a form that I'm using as a class register to record who has attended a particular class session. I have added a script to pull a list of students based on a selection of the type of session. The list of students appears in a multi select field and then you just deselect the students who weren't in attendance. Problem with Lookup Fields with Filters in Mobile App
In our app, there are many lookup fields which are constrained by a filter at design time. However, with our recent upgrade to Creator 5, these lookups no longer function properly in the mobile app. Instead, the dropdowns display no values when selected. In the browser, these fields work fine. To work around this, I have modified the On Load scripts to manually populate the lookup fields with the correct records. However, this code has the unintended consequence of calling the "On User Input"

Hi, I am using the subform field by setting default entries as 3(i.e for displaying 3 rows). And I need to set a default value for each row while loading. How can i acheive this?
FYI: Form-mobile permalinks are not supported in C5 and will break on upgrade. Any potential workarounds??

Fetching Data Into a second form
I have a New Form which looks-up the ID from another form to create a relationship. I then want it to pull in data from the other form to fill some of the fields on the open form.
