Background App Refresh on iphones or ipads??
I'm not seeing an option for "Background App Refresh" offered on our mobile devices. This translates into having to come back to a report or record you were working off of as if you are opening zoho for the first time - from the top level of zoho, then click the application, then locate the report, then the record, etc. They take calls, read texts, emails, etc in between zoho updates as well. Coming back to where you left off, background app refresh, seems like basic functionality. Is there a setting
API throws error when passing (&) ampersand and (%) percent via XML
I have the same problem as described in the title and in this related discussion. The above referenced discussion seems to have been moved offline. I was wondering what the resolution was? In short, I am trying to pass (via XML) to the API a URL containing query parameters using the ampersand. The API then throws a 2830 error. Same problem happens when I encode the “&” using “&” — as the percent symbol seems to trigger the identical error. Can somebody please help? Note: I have unsuccessfully tried

I found that in all Zoho Applications the "," thousands separator is causing the number not being recognized as a number. Can this be rectified? this is very annoying.

URL field - Link Name
I have multiple records with an entry for field type URL for which the Link Name needs to be updated. I switched to Show as Spreadsheet, so that I can quickly change each entry without having to edit each one individually. Using google chrome. Right click on field, option comes up to replace the value, enter text to replace the existing string ... but it fails to update: Just do double check I go back to Show as List, and the link name remains as it was before: How can I update multiple Link Names
Bulk Edit - wildcard to find/remove blank space
I need to remove an unwanted space in a field for multiple records. Example: TX- 12345678 => TX-12345678 A search using * for wildcard (select field, enter "*- *" shows several hundred records as desired. But then when I want to do a bulk edit to remove the blank space, the field does not show up in the dropdown for bulk edit. How can I remove an unwanted space in a specific field for multiple records at once?

Feature Request - Total application count
Hi there, In the usage details section of the dashboard it would be very helpful to have a total application count to tell you exactly how many applications you have. Importing two linked tables
I have not found any information on importing two linked tables. Say I build table Suppliers and table Products. Now each of these is a table in Excel. I have a unique Supplier_ID column in the table Suppliers. In the Products table I use this ID to reference the supplier. Creator has a built-in ID field for each from. Since it is an auto-number field, I plan to use that to link tables in the Creator. Is there a way to import Excel tables into the Creator so that data from both tables are properly

Creating report containing email addresses so that I don't have to input email in every single form?
I have a Vacation Requests form. The basic process is this: Employee submits vacation request Submit button then determines who is sent a notification for 1st approval. (It could be a number of managers, depending on which department, etc the employee is in) 1st approval person approves/rejects. If they approve, it is then sent to the HR Manager for review. She/he is sent an email telling them to review this. HR Manager then decides if she will final approve this or if the President of the company
Not able to change a report to spreadsheet format
I have a report that I'm trying to convert into a spreadsheet format, so that fields can be edited from the report screen in one click. However, I'm not getting the view I'm expecting (see screenshots) – i.e. the report is still uneditable unless you click into an individual record screen. Any ideas why?

How do I create multiple views in a Report?

In Customer Portal, if a customer modifies a Report, Zoho suggests to create a View inside the current Report withour creating a new one. Formatting Record Summary templates for Sendmail Inline
Hi, I'm finding it impossible to clean up my templates and to present right in emails. Anyone have any resources or answers to the following? Scaling to display accurately/consistently across devices. For example, logo cut off on phone, border right side not showing on desktop pc. Font size discrepancies. Hi, Can you open a report to a specific record (and maybe other criteria) where that record ID and other criteria is passed in via the URL? I have a Master Form with a Subform. The Subform of course has a lookup back to the Main Form (let's call that MF_Link_ID). Let's say the Main Form has information about a contract and the Subform has some details about the contract, some of which require approval (a decision box in the Subform). Not sure what I am missing, but why do the Application Forms only utilize a small portion of the screen aligned to the left? Is there anyway to adjust the forms to take advantage of wider displays? Do I just need to develop HTML pages for each of my forms?

Building an FAQ App in Creator
Hi, We want to build an app in zoho creator on FAQ. We will upload all our FAQs belonging to different categories(About 10 categories) using forms. Each category will have 100s of FAQs. A Report will be embedded in the FAQ page of our website. We want to use button field for categories. App will display a list of FAQs whenever a choice category button is selected. At a time only one question can be displayed. When another FAQ is selected previous one will be shut. Similar FAQ APP is readily available.

Variable Field names for reporting product attributes
I would like to create a report of Products that for every Product includes fields like: Part number Description Product Type Manufacturer Data sheet link but also has a number (say 10) fields that contain attribute values (text or decimal) such as: Weight Power Type etc. BUT I need to be able to change the attribute field name depending on the Product Type i.e. some product types will require certain attributes but not others. Office 365 Single Sign On for Zoho Creator
Hi, We are using Zoho Creator to build apps to be used across our enterprise and are interested in using Office 365 Single Sign On for all our Active Directory users (about 2400) to access our Creator apps. Do you know when SSO will be supported in Zoho Creator? I see that the Office 365 SSO option is available on the accounts.zoho.com login page, but that provides a poor user experience for our end users. Allowing a user from outside the organisation access a report and update a form using a custom action
I have create a report and also a custom action that allows a user to see a list of records in a report and then click a custom action which will open. dialogue window where they can enter data using a stateless form which then updates a record in the database once submitted.
