show action in view header
I recall a discussion of always showing custom actions on top of the view for actions that are not record specific. Currently they only show if the user clicks on a record. Since the action is not record specific the user has no reason to select a record. Is this on the roadmap? Herb Wexler
Has the validation on eMail field Changed ?
My users have been successfully using my applicaiton for over a year, but last week, an error message started to be displayed : Enter a Valid Email address.... The address it doesn't like has an apostorphe in it (example john.o'reilly@domain.co.uk) An apostorphe is a valid character (if it occurs in the name, prior to the '@' symbol) Please advise if the checking routine has changed, as this worked and has worked for one year ! URGENT! Filter on lookup field not working!
Hi, I use filters on lookup fields as follows: Lookup A = Company Names Lookup B = Items by Company (filtered by company name) Lookup C = Item type (filtered by selected item) I was able to add the filter to Lookup B without any issues, but no matter what, as soon as I move to another field and come back to Lookup C, the filter I add disappears. Please Help!

One table contains the Inventory of our printer cartridges; each individual cartridge has its own record - so, for example, there are three records, one for each of the three Q1234 cartridges in stock. I want to be able to update only one of those records - when a patron "checks out" one cartridge of that model, the records matching that cartridge number are fetched (multiple records), but only the first of those

How do I check if an input field is visible?
Hi, I'm trying to using Deluge script to evaluate whether a field is visible or not, but not sure of the syntax. Is it something like input.Field.visible = true? I basically want to write, "If field_x is visible, do this; if field_x is invisible, do this." Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Unable to save notes field with new App Builder
I switched to the new Creator interface - wow! I really like it! I think I've encountered a bug with notes fields. After I add it to the form, then edit the properties by adding text into the notes area, the "Done" button doesn't do anything. Thanks, Jeff

Doc link not loading in Creator
Team, This seems to be an ongoing issue. When linking a Zoho Doc link in creator the file does not show. Several blogs over the years attest to that bug. Hi, Can the command zoho.loginuser show full name instead of username. I have several field which i want to default to the user that can then be changed to other users (full name) that are in our system. Hi Zoho, I want to alert you to an issue with the error messages for HTML views. The line number reported in the stack trace is incorrect. It seems to reset every time I break up deluge script with an %> It makes it very difficult to debug code in HTML views.

Can we script a way to create new views when we add record or contact. As I add new customers I would like to have their view and share set automatically . Form A has data in column x is customers name. I am currently making all customers zoho users but I only allow them to view and edit records that pertain to them . ZC app new builder interface
Hey, I couldn't find any public discussion on this matter. Please leave your comments here or re-link it to the older thread if exists. My first comment is that I find it too difficult to pop over between my forms and views. e.g. I have about 40 views and 25 forms. With the current builder I really need to -left-click twice. click on "views" or "form" and click on the element im after. With the new builder I either need to scroll down the list [limited] or do a search and click. Much more tedious.
Adding values of formula fields from two different applications
i have three forms. 2 of them are used to insert some data the third one is for summarizing the two forms. How am i going to add the values of two formula fields (values coming from the 2 forms) to be shown in the third form. See attached photo. Thanks much!
getURL fails using detailed response
Since a couple of days ago, I have been getting a failure with a getURL function that has been working for months. When I use detailed response as an option it throws an "unable to produce MAP" type error. When I remove detailed and set response to simple, the getURL works fine. I have changed nothing on my end but I noticed that you guys are rolling out new code. Has anyone else reported this bug?
Error in duplicate application
