Application functionality Stopped Working
I have arrived in my office this morning to receive multiple complaints about the changes you have made to the creator views. Some of these changes are truly awful and as I do not read the zoho forums on a regular basis, I had no idea that they were coming. I also have application functionality that no longer works which, barring a ridiculously improbable coincidence, must be the result of the changes you have made. You must reverse these changes immediately and give your users time ( say 1 month

Is it possible to create Personal Custom Templates for Forms and/or Applications?
I would like to know whether users may create personal custom templates of Forms and/or Applications? With Applications, while I am aware of the copy function, this only works within the specific application type, e.g. if I have created a Personal App, I may only copy it to create a new Personal App, and not a Workspace App. Any information is appreciated ~ thanks!

IE9 Security warning
I have a webview embedded on a website. It is working exactly as expected in Chrome and FF. Unfortunately, in IE9, it is prompting a security warning. It is also refusing to download all content without the user agreeing to download "unsecure" information. This is a huge issue! It is imperative that the use of Zoho is transparent to the user. How do I get Creator to show only one summary record pasted and shown on my web page ( I can only get 10 per page at the moment) and for it to delete the previous data every time you put new data into the form. (So that it only shows the last record). is this possible?

For example, many of my views have images displayed. Enhancements to view actions.
I really don't like how view actions buttons are currently implemented. Here's the way I've been building them lately. and here's why! 1. They are located next to the other actions rather than Alllll they way to the right of a view.... The buttons become tedious to use when you have many columns in a view. Can I give edit/delete access to specific users only, not all users?
I would like to give edit/delete access in a view to specific users in my application. Lets say I have, two users A and B and the view 'Employee List'. I would like to give edit access to this view to user A only. Is this possible? If I go to 'Set Permissions' and select option to allow users to 'Edit Records', it does not let me specify which users should be granted this access and it is given to ALL users (A and B). Logial way to check each colum in a row
I may have asked this before, not sure if anyone has found a better way. Lets say I fetch a row into a collection called "therow" I need to now check each column in that row, so I make make my way left to right if "therow.C1"........ if "therow.C2".... if therow.C2" I have 50 columns what i need is a "therow.C1+ 1 next column statement or to have therow.C1 replaced as a variable which i can build Any ideas from anyone ? thanks

Reports not updating
My reports aren't always updating when the information has changed. It will be working fine and then all of sudden, it won't update again. I have to create a new report to have the changes reflected. Is this a known issue? Am I doing something wrong?
Sub-Form help required
I need some assistance please with the new sub-form facility. I need to create an application to record jobs, and be able to allocate those jobs to certain people or vehicles. I would like to be able to view a certain person or job, and have a sub-form display the various jobs allocated to them, I would also need to be able to re-assign jobs from one person or vehicle to another if required. dynamic picklist problem
Hi, I have just noticed a problem in my dynamic picklist recently, let say I load a Vehicle No picklist from form B with the criteria of matching date. The vehicle no in form B is not unique and it can show up in different date. Supposed I selected a vehicle no ABC 1234 of 4/12/2011, this vehicle no ABC 1234 also showed up in various date before. When I clicked the link to view the record in View mode, it will show the vehicle no ABC 1234 from another date, instead of 4/12/2011. Is this a bug or
Popup a verification screen from the function?
I have a function that is called as a Custom Action on each row of a view. The function makes a change to a field in the corresponding record. I would like to display a message for the user giving them a choice of OK or cancel. Something like this "You are about to change information for John Jones. HTML View: Sort by parameter passed through URL.
I have an HTML view in which there's a for each record in form loop. Now I'd like to sort these results by a parameter passed through the URL. For example, if ?sort=name is passed on with the URL, I'd like to execute the loop for each record in form sort by name. Is there any way to implement this directly instead of performing consecutive if - else loops containing the same piece of code, except for the sort by parameter? E.g. for now this is implemented like this : if ( input.sort == "name" ) {
contains() function inconsistencies - case sensitive in some cases, not in others
Hi, There are two other threads discussing this situation but I am not seeing any responses from Zoho support so I am consolidating these discussions here. My original post generated this thread and led us to include this other thread in our discussion. With some thorough testing Gaev discovered that, "Looks like .contains("xxx") is NOT Case Sensitive when applied to Collections ... otherwise it IS !!! Please respond to this. views and hidden fields
2 questions: 1. I duplicated a number of views based on a view that appears under the View button. For some reason the duplicated views are appearing under the Forms button when using the application. How can I change the views so they appear under Views? 2. Disabled RTF the grey box appears below the field
I have a disabled RTF after several fields that are hidden. They grey shading that indicates the field is disabled appears 2 inches below the field. This is about where it would be if the hidden fields were displayed. I have the same result in FF and Chrome. Herb Wexler

Hi How can I format numbers in view? I want to the format like 12,345,678.00,but the format always display 12345678.00 in VIEWS even the field is "$currency" also can't with a thousand digits,so it's not easy to read large numbers.
