Sorting of foreign names of forms and views
Hi colleges, I've notices that a list of forms and views is not correct sorted. It's can be because of the russian names of it. Is it possible to solve this problem. It's quit complicete to find a form (I have two pages of them). Do you plane to translate your application on russian? Without of russian menu and so on for me is hard to present your application to other users. Thanks, Alex
How do I automatically fill the Link URL for an image field?
Hi I have an image field in a form, and I want the URL link (not the source) to be automatically updated by the input into a separate URL field on the same form. How can I do this with Deluge? I can't see a way of referencing the link box as a variable except for enabling or disabling the checkbox requiring the link. Many thanks for any help. Martin

Filling a dropdown list that has an "On User Input" assigned...
Hi, I'm dynamically filling a drop down list with data from records. But this dropdown list also has the "On User Input" action assigned to it. It seems like each time an item is programatically added to create the drop down list, the "On User Input" action is triggered. Is there a better way to dynamically fill in a drop down list? Using custom functions on Calendar Views
Dear all, I am trying to do the following: after you select on item from the calendar view, the pop up (built in the zoho) shows information retrieved by a custom function. Is that possible? Could work similar to this ( here) where the user needs to click on the button to call the function but should work on a calendar view.

My Zoho Creator Contact Form Won't Show in WordPress
The contact form in my Wordpress website quit working so I tried making a new one with Zoho Creator using this guy's tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPB-kmXoZuo The process went exactly as described, the database was populated and emails received. But when I inserted the HTML code it doesn't appear. However gray link boxes appear next to it with Text, HTML, MS Word, PDF, XML and Print. When those buttons are clicked, a form appears. But I want the form to be embedded in the website.
All applications missing
On signing in this morning to Creator all my applications have disappeared! (About 40+ in total) I am missing My Workplace Apps and Shared Apps options in the user gui: This is the same for another colleague of mine in the same domain. Creator is added to our Google Apps domain but I get this result logging in directly with my Zoho ID as well. Obviously this is pretty urgent! Help appreciated. Kind regards, Mark

My customers require information from jobsites to be collected on their own paper forms then scanned in and e-mailed individually and/or posted on the jobsite. All of our customers want the same information collected but all of their paper forms look different. I want to use creator to enable employees to collect data from the field and then generate a page (report, web page, write document...) that can be printed and submitted to the customer. Adding List Elements
I'm attempting to use a stateless form to add new elements to a list in my database. It seems the list in my database cannot accept new elements. Is this a known limitation? PS: In doing this, no errors are reported and the list is not updated. John M. Whitney

I am not sure if this is possible currently in Zoho. I've been searching the forums but haven't found this particular issue. I am creating an equipment database. So I have my equipment form that has the item, manufacturer, invoice number, etc. I also have a form that has our purchases on it. Month Issues with Search Queries
When I search a date and time field using one of the many Month options, I get different errors. When searching "This Month", the last day of the month doesn't show. When searching "Last Month" the last day of that month doesn't show either. When searching "Current and Previous Month" the search doesn't work at all and the selection defaults back to "Is". When searching "Current and Next Month" it does include the last day of the current month, but again excludes the last day of the next month. This

Calling up the entry form from a URL
I have embedded by form view in my website and it works great, but I want to be able to call up the smaller window that you use to enter/edit a record. Specifically, on the form view there is a link for "Add" at the top, and a link for "edit" on each row, and these open a smaller window in front. Is there any way I can call these smaller windows up directly from my web page or from a URL? I would like to be able to embed a link in an email to directly open the "Add record" dialog. TIA Ross

Not Gettting Zoho Creator API Error Codes
When I use a wrong ticket number on purpose or try to generate another type of error, I don't get an error code in my response from Zoho. Automatically assign numbers
1. I know to assign the numbers but how to get numbers to change automatically with next new record. I keep getting the same number in field. 2. My [Next] button does not go to next form. It goes to a default page and I have to log in again. I am unfamiliar with writing deluge script. 3. Calendar showing data from 2 tables
I am trying to build a Calendar view that shows data from 2 tables at the same time. I have to related views Users and Projects. I was trying to build a calendar that shows information from view Users, but once you click in one particular entry, it will show all the data from the user and also will show all the projects he is working with. Is something like this possible to be done? Can insert some script code into the calendar view's definition to achieve this?
Problem submitting edited forms linked to by URL
My users have reported and I have confirmed, that when a record in a certain form is accessed by a URL for editing, and the Submit button is pressed, the "Please Wait" message appears and seems to hang. The record is never updated with the edits. Sometimes the URL just leads to a blank white screen, i.e. the editing form does not appear. Other times the editing form appears, but cannot successfully submit. And then, a few times, it will all work as intended -- i.e. edits are made and submitting

Understanding email addresses
If I understand it, when one fills in a contact form, an email is sent to the person that filled in the form and one also sent to the email address that was supplied to Zoho when the account was established. Is there a way to instead send the data input into that form to a different email address instead? I.E. - What I would like to do is have 3 contact forms - 1 for each of 3 departments - and when filled in by a customer, have the contents of the form sent to a different persons email address
I need to move data from one form to another
Sorry in advance as I am new to creator and are finding my feet I am currently trying to move data ( the current record only ) from one form to another, based on a check box being checked on the form or the press of a button on the form I am transferring from. lookup field link to summary view - navigation problem
Regarding this feature: "A lookup field can be shown as a link in the view. The link will take to the summary view page of the related form." These links open the summary view in a new page instead of a modal dialog like the other "view" links. This behaviour is causing a navigation problem when applied to an embedded view in an HTML view because there is no way to navigate directly back to the HTML view.
How do you perform a case-insensitive query?
I have a form with a name field. When validating the name I need to check if the name already exists in the data base. The check must be case insensitive. Is there a way to do this without using a FOR EACH loop? I tried the following, but it generates an error. It doesn't like the part of the code that is underlined below. I have a very similar error to this thread : My app uses a series of stateless forms to update a master form (pretty large but most field lengths have been optimised for character length) and if I attempt to edit the main form it throws this error. My error reads: [ t_734872000000029031_PIDX] Exception occured while inserting rows Failed to update data. 2 examples: FORM = 'Main' I open the 'Main' view and select EDIT and manually change a look-up field. It fails and deletes the current field value

Is this still not an option? I just had a client email me fed up with the link to my html views not working. I searched the forums and found that you can now use Scheduler to attach views but the html views aren't on the drop-down list.
Revoking API Keys for PUBLIC api.creator.zoho.com Apps?
In a previous thread it was made clear there is a distinction between how Private API access is handled. Simply share the app with one of your users and if they abuse their access it's simple enough to revoke access. Is there any such control if the app is made "public"? Are there any other ways to protect the access to the data? Perhaps as a Google App or something else? I'm trying to avoid paying Mashery a princely sum to manage access, keys, throttling, etc. I'm after a less API management solution

I have a form embedded in my website. I want a contact to click a link in an email that takes them to the form and populates the form. Error when Executing Test for function
I am creating a function, but when I execute it, this is what I get: The function does not seem to be working because it should send an email but is not.
