How to view Records 1 by 1 as a Form that I design - that looks like Data Input Form?
We have our data input Form designed and some data entered. Now we want to review the data record-by-record or lookup records but it seems like... a - We can only see the data in rows... one record per row... b - or as a single column... Question 1: Can we not drag the fields to anywhere on the screen we like so a record may look something like this... Company Product City State Phone Fax etc etc Question 2: The above has fields from a single record

How to get around requirement that view containing images for website must be "public" view accessible by un-logged-in users
I've setup the home page on a website (here) to display images that have been uploaded to a Creator form/view called "Images". But in order for the images to display on the home page, I must make that "Images" Creator view "public" -- because leaving it private does not allow the images to display on the home page. I suppose I understand that. However, it creates a serious problem, and hopefully you can advise me on a work around... The client organization must log in to access several Creator

when embeding a view for Blogposting with Google,I noticed this issue, openURL doesn't have any effect for options "new window","same window","iframe"... only popup window works,even that sits with-in Parent Element ,where User has to scroll left and top to see results. Is there any way to getURL on a page that is HTML 4.01 Transitional, and convert it to XML to use XPath? Or is the only way to parse it as a string? Thanks.
BUG: Publishing Creator app to Client with "Source" set to "No", client can still edit source!
When I publish a Creator app to a client, and indicate "No" for "Publish with Source", when the client receives the application, he can edit the application! This is a bug. Federated Login option showing even if set to "No" in Application Settings
As the subject line says, my application is still showing a Federated Login option even after I've turned it off in Application Settings. See the following: 1. I've set "Show Federated Logins" to "No" for my application 2. But, attempting to log into an embedded view of that application still shows the Federated login options. I'm trying to set up the criteria for a view based on fields in a record in a separate form, but it seems like you can't do that. I've tried everything I can think of. Is this possible? How would you do it?
automatic creation of records
hello i'm new to evaluate zoho creator. I was trying to add records automatically in a table, according to a record in an other tabe. Ex : In formA user selects a number for 'recurring amounts', a start date and an iterator ( day, month, year ) : up on these values, a certain number of records should be generated in formB. Single Line Text fields showing as multi Line
Noticed this morning that when editing the definition of a Form ... if I click on the Edit this Field link for a Single Line Text field, the resulting popup form shows the current value for the dropdown labelled Field Type: as Multi Line The visual for the field is still for that of a Single Line Text field ... but I am concerned about making any changes (to other properties of the field) in case it corrupts Client's Application data. @ZOHO Creator Team ... please investigate and advise ... - when
Converting a date/time string to the right Zoho date/time format
I have a date/time string in the format of "2010-08-01T18:07:22-06:00". I'm trying to convert it into a date/time variable in Zoho. I'm using the .toTime() function on the string like this: datetime = datetimestring.toTime("yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ss")When I execute the script, it gives me an error that it's "unable to update variable datetime." So there is an error in converting the string to a Zoho date/time. I'm thinking it might have to do with the timezone on the end of the string (-06:00), which

How to manage users in a Creator application
Can anyone help me find out how I can mange users in a Zoho application I have a time management system and I need 3 levels of authority (e.g., User, Supervisor and Admin). When a User logs in they can only see their tasks in the appliaction and update their tasks and they can't say run reports in this application. When an Admin signs in they can see all the tasks of all users in the application and they can run any report they want. How can I create these different levels of user and allow them

Mac Safari and Chrome browsers remain unusable in Creator's Free Flow Editor mode due to text artifacts (images included)
As seen in the screenshots below, Creator Free-Flow editor cannot be used in either Mac Safari or Mac Chrome due to uncontrollable text artifacts in the editor window. Works fine in Firefox, but sometimes I need to use Safari or Chrome. Hello, I copied an application and then imported data into the application. The views are functioning fine but the reports are saying that there is no data available. Is there a time delay between importing data and when the system will index this data so that reports will function? If there is such a delay, what is it normally? Hi, I apologise for lack of detail I'm new to the world of Zoho and have limited computer skills! I've recently created a database on Zoho Creator using the form to create a user friendly application. The application is working well but for some reason I am no longer able to edit the original form - it doesn't appear to load it anymore. Uninformative error messages
Sometimes when submitting a form, an error message that provides no useful information is generated... see example below. I'm not asking for help w/ this particular error -- I can muddle through solving it -- but can't Creator be made to always provide some kind of info about any given error so it's not just a vague uninformative error message? Surely at the time the error is thrown, the compiler knows what threw the error, or at least some contextual information that would be useful. Thanks.
Want to disable a view for a form
Hi, I am developing an application where in only two forms are involved. I need only one view and want to disable the other. To say, if the first form is the place where entries are made, then the datas needed to be stored in the view. The second form will display the datas from the first form with few manipulations from the view on load. Here I am not able to proceed.

Dropdown list is not updating correctly
I have a dropdown list that updates when another dropdown list is changed using scripts. I've noticed that the update is only working selectively on some records but not all. Why? I have not thuroughly checked but it seems to happen on the records that I imported instead of manually entering into the db. Please advise on this as without this working I cannot use my application correctly. I will enable access to support. Please check the "Division Orders List" form. Try selecting a 'Lease"

Inconsistent Null Behavior
When the “No duplicate entries” checkbox is checked, Single Line text fields do not allow more than one null (blank); however, numerical fields such as numbers, currency, and dates do allow more than one null. This inconsistency can cause confusion with developers. Zoho should choose a behavior and use that same behavior for all types of fields.

Problem when trying to Edit Application with Internet Explorer v7

Need Help: Creator "Reports" are displaying decimal values as integers and not summing correctly! Help please
I spent the last weekend setting up Creator reports for my organization only to discover that when the reports are generated they have a MAJOR problem that renders the entire Report function UNUSABLE. The problem is that any decimal values being displayed in a Creator Report (e.g. 0.50, 3.5, etc) are rounded down to an integer, resulting in INACCURATE DATA being displayed and summed in the report. Example below.... note: all values shown as integers though many had decimal data, no decimal values
