Company name in new leads
Hello, I'm a photographer, and my clients are companies as well as individuals. Therefore, some of my leads are individuals (for wedding photography, etc...). In Zoho CRM, the "company" field is mandatory when creating a lead. Is there any option to change that? Thank you.
Outlook Plug in - clicking sync tells you to select folder
Hi I have installed the Outlook plugin for Zoho and the add e-mail and create case work fine. When I try to sync tasks, calender or contacts it says, "For Sychronizing Task, Please select the task folder as mentioned in the Zoho CRM Preferences" I click on the Zoho CRM button, then Preferences, I browse to the correct folder i.e. tasks, calender and contacts, I press OK and just end up at the same error. Any ideas. Regard, Craig
Zoho CRM uninstall not working
Can't uninstall Outlook plugin. It says it completes, but it doesn't. Toolbar is still in Outlook. Please advise. -- Mark

Dear developers, As I didn't get any response yet on my earlier question (dated Aug 27!), hereby the same question again. This is a very important feature for us! What we desperately need: Ability to sync any Account or Contact of which I'm not the 'Owner'. Various team members need to be able to have/share identical contact information within their own Outlook. Can you please let me know when you expect this to be available? Error message while log in
I am receiving an error message each time I try to log in. It says "Error while writing log message." If I click OK the normal log in page comes up and everything seems to be working properly. This is version 6.2.5 and Outlook 2007 running on Windows XP.
One Way Overwrite Sync of Calendar from Outlook to Zoho CRM
Is this possible? I messed up with time zones and I have to redo the first large sync. I deleted all the mirrored entries in the zoho crm calendar, so all the entries are now only in Outlook. But whenever I sync, even though I set conflict resolution to "outlook wins", I keep getting asked if I want to delete all my calendar items in outlook, rather than importing them all to Zoho. Old Version Message Box
I downloaded the Outlook plugin and installed it just now. The system keeps telling me that I have an old version and that I need to download the new version. But every time I download it again, it's the same message. I tried clearing my cache and cookies, I tried downloading it in IE7 and Firefox. Sync outlook calender to ZOHO
I have tried to sync. my calender from ZOHO to Outlook, which work very good, but for some reason I lost all the calender informations in ZOHO calender?? I then tried to make a new sync but I am not able to get the the calender back to ZOHO ??
Install problems!!!
receive the following error upon install of plugin: cannot start MS Outllook. The command argument is not valid.verify the switch you are using. However when I open Outlook low and behold there is Zoho toolbar. I login, confg preferences and when I attempt to sync nothing happens. I have already called support and emailed re this issue. I have also researched forums, etc and do not see similar topics. I just paid for this plugin (BTW your company charged me twice) so I hope there will be a response.
Problem with "Add email" for emails written in rus
Hi, I've installed the outlook plugin and tried to "add" a few mails to the CRM from outlook. 1. There is a problem with emails written in Russian (and maybe in other languages also). Text of such added emails end up appearing in the CRM as a bunch of meaningless symbols. 2. Contacts with multiple or alternate e-mail addresses
Is it possible to sync an e-mail to a contact if the sender (From: address) is different? In other words, I have a few contacts that have different business and personal e-mail addresses. They sometimes send e-mail from home using a personal account. In other cases I receive e-mail from a vendor (such as a price quote) and I want to sync that e-mail to one of my customers (contacts in Zoho CRM) for tracking purposes. New Outlook Plugin Version? Changes???
When I login to the Outlook plugin, it's telling me that there is a new version, but when I went to the website to download the new version and installed it, it still tells me there is a new version available. Are some of the download links not updated with the new version? Would it be possible to put the version number in the filename so we know which one we're downloading. What about the question of posting somewhere what the changes are so we know what to expect? Thanks, James
Exporting Outlook Contact as Lead to Zoho CRM

Automatically Link Activity to Contact on Outlook Sync...
I asked this question a month ago but got no response: In ACT, if you add an event or task in Outlook and sync it using Companionlink, it will automatically link it to the correct Contact, Account (or multiple contacts, accounts & products because it has N:N relationships!) Anyway - is there a way to add this feature to the Zoho Outlook Plugin? That way you wouldn't have to go into Zoho after you sync the activity and then have to link it, it would all be seamless. Error message when clicking on 'Preferences'
Dear Sir/Madam, I just upgraded my Zoho CRM Outlook plug-in, but I'm now getting a strange error message. When I click on 'Preferences' the error message is 'Object doesn't support this property or method' Then I do get into the preferences box (two tab sheets 'Synchronization' and 'Choose Category'. "Search and Add" in the Outlook Plug-in is not wor
Hi, with the Outlook plug-in, when I try to add an email sent by me I can't add the recipient with the "Search and Add" function: I can search for the right contact and I can select it, but when I click "Add to Zoh CRM" it say "No Recipient Selected". "Add email" is not working
I updated my Zoho Outlook plugin last week. Since then, the "Add Email" button does not work -- I get an error message that says "Error while adding mail to zoho CRM". Nothing further happens (the add email dialog box doesn't appear). I don't know if this is related: when I click "Preferences" in the Zoho CRM menu, I receive an error message that says "Object doesn't support this property or method". However when I dismiss the error message, the Preferences dialog box does appear. I am on Outlook
Email being sent again and again as i add them to ZoHo!
Hi all, I'm having a little trouble with the ZOHO Outlook plugin. When i select an email in Outlook 2007 (running on Vista Home Premium SP1), i click the button to add to ZOHO. It works fine, but then i notice later that after the emails were added to Zoho, they were also re-sent from outlook, so my customer have been recieveing dupliacate emails dating back to almost a year ago! Is this a common problem? how can i solve it? thanks CC
