Need to Change Sender In EMail Template--How Do I Do This?
If possible, I need to change the From address in a couple of email templates I've set up. The address that is currently there has a pulldown arrow next to it, which generates the following options: Current User's EMail Record Owner's EMail However, I can't seem to find a way to enter an address that is different from the default address. Is it possible to change the default address to something else? Thanks for any help!
Fields required before changing Status
Hi all, is there a way to 'force' users to complete certain fields before changing a record status? I don't want to use mandatory fields option as it might be that a 'contact' was created without an email address but this same field now need to be filled before user change 'status'? How do I make sure that certain steps are followed as part of a workflow?
Stop parent accont from overwriting child account address
Hi Many of my users have found an issue with assigning parent accounts. When a perent account is to an existing (or newly created Account) both the billing and shipping adresses are over written. Personally I can't think any reason that would be useful and it is wasting hours of our users time having to correct the adresses. Can this be fixed. Thanks Dan
Tab group order
I am trying to order the tabs in my tab group. I have a tab that contains all my Creator reports and I want then ordered like they are in the before image - Home, Client Briefs, SRAC, Call Sheets and no Projects but when I save the order it gets reordered Home, Call Sheets , SRAC, Client Briefs with Projects added on. Discount applied after taxes is an accounting aberration!
Hi, In all modules in ZOHO CRM (Quotes, PO, SO, Invocies) an overall Discount can be applied in addition to the discounts per product. It's great and useful. A big issue though is that you put it AFTER taxes. In addition to not fit any financing/accounting standard, it messes with all possible reports. Piloting the business in this context is VERY hard. Can't open attachment from Zoho mail.
Hello, I’m a new user of Zoho CRM and having troubles with opening some attachments from my mail. I think the attached files are damaged but I cant figure out what the problem is. When I send the mail with my gmail account there is no problem. I can open the attachment normally. When I’m looking at my mail in the synchronized Zoho account, I cant open the attachment. Hello, I'm a new Zoho CRM user. My CRM is connected with my gmail account and is synchronized. When I send an email from my gmail account with a PDF attachment to a client it works. When I go to this client in ZOHO CRM and open the mail, I can't open the attachment from that mail. I get the following error in the mail: =?ISO-8859-1?Q?, followed by the titel of the attachment. When I open the attachment, I get a blank screen. I googled the error and from the results of it, I think it is a language
Warning when e-mail contains empty field
Sometimes e-mails get sent while some referenced fields (${Contacts.Field}) they reference are still empty. Especially new employees sometimes forget to fill in some fields before they send an email to a client for example. It would be nice if you got a warning when the e-mail you are sending (either manually or with a macro) contains at least one empty field. I don't know exactly what the implications of this would be. Maybe some people rely on empty fields so either one field or another gets displayed.

Hi Is it possible to create a rule that will auto delete any closed tasks as i always forget to delete these or if they could be automatically deleted after say 3 days as a fail safe?. They just clutter up the accounts and elongate the page. Thanks

Let a custom contact field equal a custom field from its account
Hi all I want to have a custom field in the contacts module ("Rep for this contact's account") to equal the custom field called "Rep" in that contact's account. The idea is, is that I can create and pull up a view of all contacts of a particular rep in the company. The company doesn't let all the rep's have any access to the system, for technical and cost reasons. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello, I see that you can specify a parent account for any account. And, the Member Accounts area shows the direct children (but not the children's children) of an account. How can I see a corporate hierarchy with each level of parent/child indented? I used to rely on that a lot in SFDC. viewing of calendars
I have tried setting up mutliple users, but it appears even though I have given them full permissions they cannot see my zoho calendar/and or/ we are not sharing calendars. How do I set that up. Also it appears I cannot have simultaneous users. "Using the free version."
Lead Owner Change Email no longer being sent
About 2 weeks ago it would seem that the Ownership change email is no longer being sent to one of our standard users. All other users receive notification of the ownership change, but the link to the lead information now says "Undefined" instead of lead name. Is this a bug in the recent update that added new features to Zoho? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pop up does not link to lead
We have instituted pop up reminders to call leads but when you see the pop up. It does not link to the lead. You have to go do a search. Are we missing something? Thanks

Can't Access Zoho Apps in Firefox

Zoho User created own instance of zoho CRM
So I have a user that has access to Zoho Connect and Zoho Recruit, I sent her an invitation for Zoho CRM. Instead of using the invitation link she navigated to Zoho CRM and created her own instance of Zoho CRM. How can I as a company administrator prevent this from happening? How can I close that CRM instance and give her access to the company version I set up?
