How do I assign a task to an external group or individual who will not have an email address and who we do not want to have access to the project but still want a way to manage the external dependency?
Relationship between Zoho Project and Zoho Sheet
Hi, I have been able to implement fully the Document Content API to interact with spreadsheets stored in Zoho Sheet from my desktop application. Is it possible to similarly interact with a spreadsheet stored in Zoho Projects via the Document Content API. If so how. If not is there another way or is there a way that my application can get Zoho to copy the spreadsheets from Projects to Sheet. If so how? why do clients have access to all documents?
We should be able to set documents classifications to be either internal or external - just like Milestones. This is a huge problem, because we can't store sensitive information about a project on the project document management system. Is this functionality in the roadmap and if so - when is it coming out? Editing files attached to bugs
We have a series of bugs, and have found it useful to add attachments to certain bugs containing more detailed descriptive information. I would now like to edit the attachment (or replace with a new version), but can find no way of deleting an existing attachment. Is this possible?
Bugs are not showing up under 'Bugs'
We spent the entire day putting bugs in the bug tracker only to have them disappear from the Bugs tab. They show up in Dashboard under Activities and most of them can be opened and read but none of them show up under the Bugs tab.
In Projects, once a document is uploaded, how can I edit or add a new tag?
I have several different types of documents in my Projects documents folder. I have added some new tags but I don't see how to edit tags on existing documents or even edit comments. Also, if it requires using other Zoho apps, what can I do with the PDF files, which aren't editable in Viewer? Thanks Stan

Sort Tasks
It seems like you have the option to sort projects alphabetically. Why not allow easy sorting of tasks, to alphabetical order?
Dashboard Order for My Project Members
Is it possible to change the order in which the profile images display on the dashboard for my project members? It currently shows them in the order the members were added to the site. A random, recently active, or even alphabetical order would work better. Because the first members were from a pilot group, the site is not as inviting to those outside the group. Tasks Management and Timesheet
Hi guys. I am doing some testing to Zoho Projects and I realized that it won't work for me because I have to plan some tasks by the hours they actually will take and I just can't do that because when I create a task I have to specify a duration in days and the field only accepts integer values... However I can use the timesheet to assign time to tasks and I actually can set the hours spent for that task (and even minutes). Shouldn't the task feature and the timesheet feature match each other? Deleting Files in a Wiki Page File Cabinet
Is it possible to delete a file we have uploaded to a Wiki page designated as a file cabinet (in zoho Projects)? there doesn't seem to be a way to do this, and it's very frustrating.....do we have to delete the entire Wiki page, just to get rid of one file? Thanks

Hello Zoho, Is there a way to customize the "from" field that shows up in inboxs when someone receives a notification from Zoho? Currently, it always says "Zoho Projects Notification." Is there a way to customize the subject line of Zoho Notification emails? Currently, it always begins with the project name in brackets. Thank you for any help you can offer. Tasks & Milestones overview all in one page
In the current Tasks & Milestones overview page, you have to choose what you want to see: General (tasks without milestone), upcoming, overdue, completed milestones. I would like to have a view with all in one. Now you have to check all these pages to see if everything is going according to plan. Especially overdue milestones get out of sight, because the default view is the upcoming mile stones page. [Projects 2.0] :client user password
How can I simply create a password for a client user? I've got one user, aarme medical, who has not been able to enter the system for weeks: She cannot remember the password, the password request feature does not seem to work (it always says something like "sorry, unable to process"), and when I delete her account and set it back up, a message says to "use the password she already has" which puts us back to the beginning, but now I have a very frustrated customer. Can I restrict who views what in the same project?
Hi, I have assigned a team to a project that is posted in ZoHo. Some of the team members are the actual client. I would like to post things to the project that only my team can see, not the client. Sometimes I will need to post things that everyone can see. Is this possible?
Can't add Calendar item
I just signed up for a free Zoho Projects account to test the features. I can't add anything to the calendar. Am I missing something obvious? I checked the instructions at http://www.zoho.com/projects/help/create-events.htmlbut it does not do anything on mouseover like the users guide says it should.
Task Search
In tasks, you should make the search box (on the right) float down the page. The longer the task list gets, the more you need search -- but it is always at the very top of the page (rather than where you need it). Remember the Milk does a good job of having the right panel float down, as you move down the list.

Milestone end date
If I create a new milestone for about let's say 5 days If I create within this milestone a tasklist with several tasks but to complete all tasks, it will take about 7 days, why is the end date of the milstone not ajusted according to the tasks enddate?

How to view all time logged by a user in one place
Is it possible to see all the time logged in by one user, in one place. For example, an employee may work on 5 projects and I am trying to figure out if I can see ALL the time logged by the one employee. If this is not possible, it is number ONE on my wishlist. Thanks for your help.

I mentioned in an earlier post I hoped we could move from Central Desktop to Zoho because it seems I could manage my company and personal details all in one place. Something that wou;d aid us because we work heavily with art would be the ability to add images to tasks in projects, maybe within the notes. Meeting Date Incorrect
I've started using Zoho project and I scheduled a meeting for 7pm today and it shows as 1am tomorrow. It looks like a time zone issue but I selected the correct timezone before I created the meeting. Can you please let me know what is wrong? Thanks!
Are subscribed task and event calendars readonly?
We are currently evaluating whether or not to use Zoho versus TeamBox, Basecamp, Box.net, or 5pm. I am little annoyed that it has been a day since I submitted technical support a question. Doesnt bode well for our confidence that Zoho is a viable solution. While we have exercised most of the functionality, the one thing I am not able to do is to get the subscribed tasks working two-way. I can see the tasks and events nicely in both Lightening and iCal, but in both clients, the calendars are marked
Task Reminder
Is there any way to setup an automated task reminder? I know you send an email right away but that is not so helpful if the task is due in a month. An automated reminder set for a week before or a day before would work better. Please let me know!

We need to share/link the same document to multiple projects. How do we go about doing that? Attaching the same document multiple times is not going to work because changes to that document need to be reflected in all projects. Is there a way to somehow link to actual Google Docs documents(rather than upload/attach)?

Better way to manage what clients see / User privileges
Hi, I'm very happy today to see that Zoho Projects have now introduced Bug Tracking (Beta). This is great and happy that you listen to your clients suggestions. This is a very important features for our work flow here. One of my biggest concerns with Zoho is now what do the clients see? I may be missing a section or its not clear enough but I can't seem to manage user privileges as much as I'd like. So for example can a client assigned to a project see Tasks? Bugs? Discussions? Why does Zoho Projects only enable upload of non Zoho docs
I tried uploading Zoho documents on my Zoho projects, but it converted the files to .doc extension? Why is that?
