Suggestions
These are enough actually for me to seek out services: make the things under "setting" more visible, like up in the tab area with the other tools. I would even suggest making the tabs more intuitive or that users could decide WHAT items to have on their toolbar. It's such a time waster having to hunt around for where things are. Instead of building it to be "lean and clean", think about the user experience. People are adding docs a lot, let that be a tab always. Hiding stuff just frustrates the hell
I've just started using this and it's really slow....
Is this normal? I've started today with the free edition and a real project in order to evaluate and decide if I want to purchase the extra functionality. However, for me it's so slow that it's just not productive enough to use. Does anyone else have the same experience? TIA!

Hi. I curently subscript to Zoho Projects but I'm keen to subscribe to a number of other Zoho products. I was wondering if you offer a discount or a package deal. I'm interested in Zoho invoices, Zoho CRM, Zoho Meeting and Zoho Projects. [issue] Hours deleted when associated task is deleted.
When I delete a task to which billable hours are linked to, the billable hours are also deleted without warning. The current behavior can make billable hours disappear without notice and this directly causes financial impact and lost of money for my company. It happened to me. If I haven't had a separate time tracking, I would have lost billable hours. The expected behavior would at least be to ask if I really want to delete this task since billable hours are linked to it and these billable hours

Timesheet bug issue
i'm having a problem on Zoho project, I'm trying to log time for me and my colleagues in the "list view" mode. Every time I try to log time for my colleague (user : j.masse@momac.net) it's registered in my timesheet... The Problem is a little bit diferrent when I don't use the list view mode but the data is not displayed correctly in the caledar. Do you have any fix for it ? Thanks, Paul ph.bedry

Hi. I have a feature suggestion for you... We have so many projects on the go that they take up 3 or 4 bread-crumb links. What would be a better way of doing this is if we could group our projects into expandable groups or folders on the project widget. For example, we could group our projects as "Admin Projects", "Marketing Projects", "Client Projects" or whatever we want to name the groups. Each group would be an expandable folder or link (a bit like a mail folder in outlook) which would hide/show

Bad formatting after exporting to Word
Hi all. Im working with Zoho Projects, and when we download the office files we are working with, they get downloaded with wrong and damaged formats. They make Office 2007 crash before they open, and all the words and format is messed once Word recovers. Words are show in vertical rather than horizontal shape, and can't be edited nor deleted. Please give a check to the Office Word exporting module.
Full integration with Zoho Writer
I would like the documents to be fully integrated with Zoho Writer, so users can collaborate and write on documents at the same time; also chat during the editing.

Template modifications
Hi It would be great to have a feature that allowed you to modify a project template and have the option of updating existing projects (that use that template) with the new changes. For example - If I add a new document to a project template, it should allow me to either automatically or at least manually copy that document across to all existing projects that use that particular project template that I've just modified. chrissylvester

I just started using 'project'. I'd like to know how to get to 'project help' and 'planner' directly from 'project'. The only path I could find was a new browser window directed to zoho.com. Once at the home page, I could get anywhere. This seemed a curious solution, though.

search function
Does the Zoho Projects team consider an across-projects search function viable? I can see that at a certain number of projects, management might become complex, and to a great degree rely on the client's/user's memory. A search function would greatly help and improve overall management with a large number of projects with corresponding large numbers of tasks.
Zoho Projects Suggestions for Improvement
For Timesheet entry, it would be really helpful if there was a way to enter time without having to bounce between all the projects a person has assignments within. Similiarly, it would be handy to also have a way to view the time I have entered for across everything and also be able to report in the same way. This would really help to ensure that all 8 hrs in a day (or 10 or 12 or 14 depending on how busy things are) are accounted for without having to use a pen and paper to add everything up. Dave
Export All: Time Sheets
In the "Hours" column of the exported excel document for all users timesheets, the hours are listed as characters rather than numbers.
