How to export a report?
As far as I understood from posts - Project has export functionality. Where is it though? I have free account.
discrepancy in display of meeting(s) on homepage
I have a meeting scheduled for 19-9 at 5.30PM (6 hrs ahead at time of writing) & this shows up in the relevant single project page/section. However, for some strange reason, this meeting is not showing up in the meetings section of the homepage. There was no problem with this yesterday. I think it peculiar that the meeting scheduled for that day would not show up in the homepage ('open' & 'all' categories) when they do for their individual project page. Is there something wrong here?

Milestones don't show to all users
I've created a project with several users, (contractors, employes and clients). I've also created several project milestones and assigned them to an owner. But now nobody except for the owner can see the milestones in the project planning. That's not the idea in my opinion. I've tried internal and external milestones, but that's not the problem. Am I missing something?
Task Notes
I created a task note, so I know it's possible; however, I can't figure out how I did it in order to add more notes. Could you add specific instructions in Help on how to do this for tasks. Also, could you add a command or Icon on the Tasks and Milestones General page (unless it is already there and I am just not finding it.) judyokazaki

Set Project Task deadlines as Outlook Calendar Events
Hi, We've had literally each of our clients ask for the ability to add the tasks and milestones created in the Project tool to their outlook or Google calendar.. Clients and Contractors are less likely to want to login and keep track of the project through the project, but they are very inttd in having email notifications for projects assigned to them and the information on the key dates available on their calendar app - that's how they think about the projects, as certain tasks that will happen

Spreadsheets with embedded jpeg objects
I uploaded as .xls file with embedded jpgs (shown as icons). When I open the spreadsheet in Sheet, as expected, the embedded icons do not show up. I am ok with that limitation. However when I edit cell data, in sheet, and save the file the .xls file does not reflect the changes in cell values. Is this a bug?

Charging time to newer tasks in Timesheet View
For some reason, I cannot access all the tasks in my project using the dropdown box on the Timesheet View. Is there some task limit? I have even deleted older and completed tasks to clean things up. However, newer tasks are still not visible in the dropdown. Sidebar - Do I have to purchase zoho for full functionality of timekeeping? Otherwise, this seems like a bug and will impact my evaluation. I cannot create tasks and only be able to charge time to a few in the Timesheet view. Please advise.
Can't assign a project member to a task

I am having a problem with the Email that goes out when I add a new client user. It seems the Email doesn't give them a password. Is there anyway to view expired tasks in the "Week Ahead"? Also, is there anyway to set up a default user for all tasks within a project, or have tasks set up for all users appear in each user's calendar? Thanks.
Include non-project member names and details in meeting
My project involves meetings with lots of people who are not on the project. I want to be able to include their names, location and phone number as a meeting detail, not as the meeting title. I will, of course, add it to the notes. As my meetings are at locations all over the US, it would be good to be able to include the address within the meeting details rather than in the notes. sarahbloomer

Is it possible to limit which forum topics and folders client users can access. If my project team is arguing on a set of issues I would rather isolate a client from seeing this ?

Task Summary View
The task summary screen is a great idea but needs a lot more work to make it more functional. We should be able to change dates and priorities in this view so its easy to manage all of our tasks. As is, it takes way to long to view and manage all of your tasks since it has to exit this screen. Also, tasks should synch to Microsoft outlook!! When will this be available? befound

Would it be possible to add the export (as a spreadsheet) function to Projects homepage which simply lists all tasks and milestones? As a spreadsheet, one would receive all tasks and milestones in a more orderly/tidy fashion. Also, the data would be easier to utilise/manipulate. Thanks.
Delayed vs. Not Completed
I have an idea that there is an 'operational gap' in the use of delayed when tasks or milestones pass their assigned completion date. Delayed is used as a catch all term, & it implies that an action is this way because of circumstances beyond the operator's control. This is not always so--a task may simply be not completed or incomplete, rather than delayed. For example, I might have a task that is continuous over a 1 or 2 week period, and therefore, have the task repeat for a total of 5-10 days,

How do I modify the Client User registration email text? It would be confusing to clients if I don't customize... remove Zoho reference (they have no idea what that is) and provide some basic information about how to use it... additionally I have different URL for the login page that then redirects to the actual page. Add user defined fields to a task to be used in reporting
Can you please add some user defined fields to a task so it can be used in different reports? For example. Task - Setup tooling User Defined 1 = Product (All, Mars, Venus, Earth) User Defined 2 = Operations User Defined 3 = China this would in addition to having a Resource assigned to it.

in the dashboard I think you should be able to shrink and expand the sections like you can in zoho crm. The recent updates one especially is not needed or used by most people and has no links to any of the items anyway. Andrew Wallace

Zoho sends registraion mails as soon as the admin add the users/ CLIENTS to the project. But the milestones and task lists are still in the offiing. simplified version zoho projects
it's great that you've designed this with high end biz use in mind, but it would also be good for smaller biz, if one could dumb it down a bit. for instance, our biz does not need 'milestones' a task list per project is enough...and 'milestones' just confused my people. also one thing to keep in mind in ALL of our offerings is that not every "task" or to-do item, has a "DUE DATE"... for small biz's many things we need or intend to do are all ASAP basis... when we have the money or time to do them

Project GUI display
The styling does not display properly in Firefox 3... and the skins are not fully extended to all headers (some shading is still the default skin). The projecrt interface is generally a little clnky.. I would love to see it cleaned up and made to work in all browsers equally... especially if clients are going to log-in. Thanks. lordgod
homepage-priority indication & selection
It is good that we can indicate at task level the degree of priority. However, on the homepage, there is no corresponding way to refine selection in terms of these levels of priority. It would be good if Zoho were to introduce a function that would enable the selection of tasks (and milestones) by the level of priority.
