Users panel
Hi, the system is very well thought through, just 2 remarks (for now): - in the Users panel, users seem to be logged in for ever. Their on/offline status is not updated by the system. What it seems to show in fact is the last time a given user logged in. - wishlist: since that panel should pressumably really display the online status, it would be very convenient to have some kind of EM system to send short messages to those user who are logged in Hope this helps, Charles charles.vellutini

Documents in Zoho Projects
I *REALLY REALLY REALLY* need to be able to: 1. Easily link to existing Zoho Writer, Sheet, Show, other documents in the Documents tab of zProjects. 2. Tasks & Milestone view
In projects, when I click on tasks and milestones, I fail to see the importance of the 'General' tab. If I have everything organized following PM methodology, every task will be attached to a milestone. I should either see the top few milestones from each milestone view or be able to customize the 'front page' of the tasks and milestones view so that I can decide what to view. User deletion and creation
A user has the problem that he does not get password requests, probably due to his provider who deletes those messages as Spam. Since it is not easy for him to a) get his provider to change the spam filter or b) change the provider it would be helpful if the admin could receive it or at least change it or at least if the admin deletes the user and then recreates him a new password should be generated and emailed to the new user and admin (as with all new users created).

Hi - we just chose Zoho Projects over Basecamp because it has so many amazing features that Basecamp lacks. Documents uploading and notification
1) There should be away to upload a doc and then select users to notify its existence for their review instead of having to go to send a message to users. Erros in ZOHO sheets
I am getting constant errors when moving form one sheet to the next in Zoho sheets It says error opening page, then offers me a version of the control nav with a back button, none of which works jed
filename too long
I'm trying to upload files to my workspace, but many get error that filename is too long. I can fix by putting folder with file in it higher in my directory, but this is not an ideal workaround. My path isn't especially long - in a regular 'my docs' folder then two levels down (first level being my project name, then the topic). Can the filename/path just be allowed to be longer? Or does anyone have any suggestions. Thank you

Problems with uploading of versions

Client view of calendar, meetings
We've found Zoho Project so useful for our internal project management, that we've upgraded to a paid plan, and started using it with our clients. The one thing notably missing from the client view are the calendar and meeting tabs. Ideally, the client view would include the calendar and meeting tabs, and meetings could be marked as internal or external. In this way, all external meetings, milestones and tasks would be visible to the client, and they could use the calendar view to see all of these
Timed tasks
It would be absolutely gorgeous if email reminders for certain events (tasks) can be sent off at a later date. The options should be set up something like this: Reminder Settings: [checkbox] Send reminder notice: - When should notice be sent? Forum search & thumbnail generation
The forum can become quite busy and should have a quick textual search option. There should also be an option to collapse/expand all comments. It would also be nice if the forum would instead generate *thumbnails* (cached or on the fly generation) for the images uploaded instead of downloading full size images. move, edit, delete icons to close an small
Hi In zoho project task I am having troubles with the size of the move, edit and delete icons associated to tasks, files, etc. Suggestion: Increase horizontally the area of the mentioned icons (increasing area vertically is not a good idea). There is a lot of space in the page layout for this. Doing that, you do not have to aim exactly to the desired icon. (In fact, I deleted a task while I tried to edit it!). In laptops, where real estate is critical, enhanced icons is really a need. Hugo
Some difficulties using Zoho Projects
I´ve downgraded my account because of some difficulties using Zoho Projects: 1) Performance - too slow. 2) Whan a taskis assigned to someone, the corresponding alert e-mail doesn´t link directly to the task - the person must search in all the system - it is wprst if he/she is involved in many projects. 3) There is not a "place" to put messages. Due Dates

Visibility of notes all time and when they are completed
Hi, First, congrats for the great job. Now, the bugs: - When the notes are to big I can't see they without opening the view, because when I scroll down the notes disappear. - When task are closed, notes can't be in open mode, so when it is to big to the screen, I can't read in anyway. - When you write an link or something that is "alltogether" the note lost the background, because the width is fixed, but the link is bigger than it. User cannot login from UK
This morning my colleague in the UK was not able to log on to zoho projects. While on the phone with her, I was able to log on for her here in the US. I can't think of anything else that could affect login? She had been able to log on in the past from the UK. Please help. Thanks.

Please allow tasks to have a 'due date' function in addition to the existing 'start date' functionality. Please also allow tasks to be checked off as completed prior to the actual start date (this happens in projects). simon

At the moment we use the Forum option to write link lists, eg links related to a project. But wouldn't it make more sense to have a specific link list/bookmark feature? michel

Projects and Clients
The "clients" concept is actually quite important in project management, but the way it is implemented here seems like an afterthought, and is unnecessarily confusing: a). it's not documented or explained anywhere that I can find; b). it's buried under 'settings,' where I discovered it by accident; c). When you do associate a client to a project, there is no indication of that fact anywhere that I can find; d). the implementation seems to conflate two distinct roles for outside companies: 1. a *contractor*
More colours for notes icon
Notes for tasks are great. :-) We use them to write/explain details for a task. But we would also like to use them to allow the owner of the task to report back about problems etc. Or to add comments on completion (eg about problems he had, why task took longer than expected etc.) Of course he can do that already now. But it would be nice to have different colours for the notes - or maybe even more than just one note icon for a task that allow us to easily see, where such special "report back" notes
Dependencies between tasks
We have read, that you will soon allow sub tasks - that is great. But how about other dependencies? Eg between tasks of different task lists or milestones. Or tasks within the same task list, but not being sub tasks. michel
