I want most Users restricted to seeing only a single project(for purposes of Tasks & Milestones), but I would like them ALL to have access to a central Forum (ie, for FAQs) and Documents (ie, Project Standards Docs, Blank Forms, etc). In this respect, they need have NO ACCESS to Quickbooks. Is there a better way than to set up one ZOHO project, to which I add every single user? Project would have no Tasks/Milestones, Timesheets, Meetings... just Documents and Forum. rsonnenberg

Purchase
I attempted to purchase a package numerous times today and each time the Zoho payment processing fails. I receive an indefinite processing request message (sorry - do not remember exact verbiage). I do not receive a server error message just an indefinite processing. Definition of Milestones
I started working with Projects today. I am sort of liking it. The term "Milestones" is misleading. Traditionally a milestone is a point in time. You are using it to define a period of days that is more than one. I think it would be more appropriate to call this a "Project Phase". So you would have a Project Phase. within that phase, you would have tasks and meetings. Optimally you would also have milestones but these would have to be of a duration of max one day and min zero time. bob
Speed is STILL an issue
Why is Zoho STILL so slow? This is one of the primary factors that is preventing me and our team members who are testing this from moving ahead and recommending this tool institution wide for our educational institution. We like the convenience, the suite of tools that can be incorporated, but good god, this makes Blackboard seem like the speediest application known to human kind. The following is the list of things that got done in the latest update. 1. You can now choose to send the forum post mail notification to select users from the project users list (before, it was for everyone or noone) 2. Each forum discussions can now be viewed in expand/collapse mode (saving page space while listing all discussions). Use the 'More'/'Less' links at the bottom of each post 3. In case a forum post contains URLs, these can now be clicked upon 4. Quick Create dropdown menu for all 'New'

On Error: Meeting cannot be scheduled on expired timeline
If a meeting has happened in the past, yet the time of it changed, you cannot go back and edit as having occurred at a different time. In this case, there was a typo and the meeting had occurred at 10:30pm yet it was scheduled for 10:30am. User should be able to adjust meetings which have occurred in the past to reflect actual time they occurred. daniel.alexander

Tip 5 : Document Search,Preview Images & Thumbnail View
In Zoho Projects documents can be searched based on tags or based on file extensions. In order to search documents, Under Documents tab , on the top right corner choose the mode of search (by tag/by extension) in the selection combo and enter the tagname or extension name in the text field next to the combo. When I create documents with Zoho writer, sheet and/or show how can I import them directly into the document folder for a specific Zoho project? Links to Zohowriter Docs instead of uploads in "Documen
It would be nice if in the Documents section of a project, there was a choice to insert or "upload" a LINK to a document as well as actually uploading a document. Or, I suppose integrating Writer with Projects would be the alternative but I think the former would be a lot easier! :-) Links would save a lot of time versus uploading then downloading, editing, then uploading again. Moving Tasks / Completed Tasks
There are two features that I need to continue using your service. I need to be able to Move a task from one List to another. A feature that would be nice; would be to move all remaining tasks in a list to a new list. If I create a list for Phase 1 of a project, but I didn't get all items complete by the deadline, I need to be able to move those tasks to Phase 2. Unable to upload file
I am a manager on a project, and when I try to upload a file it acts like it's uploading. However, when the file list refreshes I do not see the "uploaded" file in the list, nor do I receive any sort of message indicating that the upload was not successful for any reason. I should be able to add files to a project if I'm a manager on the project, shouldn't I?
