Wishlist: Subfolders Rather than a flat filing system, a heirarchical filing system with the ability to expand and condense the folders. Kind of like Microsoft Windows File Explorer.
Weeks starting with Mondays
How can I customize the Calendar so that a week starts with Monday? "Weeks" in the Zoho Projects Calendar start with Sundays. This is not the case for a number of countries and is annoying (it actually produced problems in organizing a meeting because of the calendar layout).
Quarterly & annual overview views
Currently, ZP provides *per project* views in hard copy form (Work Task Reminder), as well as online (Reports section), and *across projects* views (Work Calendar). updating MPP and then importing
If you import a project from MPP to Zoho and later update schedules/tasks/milestones in MPP do you then have to re-import the project into Zoho? Are there ways to sync updates?

ical subscription in google calendar
My Projects 'work calendar' link is not importing all of my events into my google calendar. For some reason only one or two, even on the same day, are coming through into google when all of them are transferred into Zoho Calendar and iCal applications. I would be happy to use only Zoho calendar, but I need to make sure that all of my calendars can be integrated and right now this is not the case.
Strange Calendar Behaviors in ZP
I keep adding today's date at end date on task. But then the dashboard shows a different end date (off by about a day), and says the task is "delayed." I have tried hitting "clear" to remove the date errors, but the date error remains. On similar issues, wouldn't it be faster and easier to type in a date? Will the system allow a typed date? Even better would be the ability to arrow the date up and down like many programs. Or type "t" for today.
Clicking a task in the dashboard
Task updates are displayed with hyperlinks in the dashboard. However, when you click a task's hyperlink (and if you are alreadey in collapsed task list view) couple of task lists are listed in the screen, it includes the task list that selected tas belongs to but it does not show it clearly. In the list of couple task list, the only notification is the minus sign in front of the task list that task is in. It will be more easier/clear to display the task list that selected task belongs to and

Reordering Tasks in a Task List
Unable to reorder tasks in a Task List. There is a command 'Reorder Task List' but nothing happens when we click on it, except that the command changes to 'Save Task List Order'. When we click on Move Task arrow on the left of checkbox of a task, we get a dropdown list of task lists. Bug affects preparation of tasks of a task list that have to be in the order of their execution. Narayan

Dear sirs, if you go on Wikipedia or any other well informed site and type "Project Management", you'll find a page containing the acronyms "CPM" or "PERT". Those two terms are simple tools for planning a project where there are dependencies between tasks or activities. Please add those two techniques to Zoho, and it will compete with Ms Project and other famous PM tools. Thank you

Zoho Apps dropdown menu glitch
A portion of "Zoho Apps" drop down menu inside "Zoho Projects>Tasks & Milestones" can't be viewed when resizing my browser (Firefox) to around 75%. I have to maximize my browser to totally view the entire selections on the drop down menu. see attached captured image. Jon
Problem with uploading latest version
Hi, I have a problem, I'm not sure if this is a bug or perhaps Im doin it the wrong way. Anyway, I created a test spreadsheet at Zoho Sheet, and saved it there. I uploaded that sheet to Zoho Projects, uploading of new file is OK, no problem since there's an option to select where the source file is located (local harddrive, zoho docs, google docs) BUT the problem is, when i try to upload a NEW VERSION of that spreadsheet, there's no "zoho docs" or "google docs" selection to choose from. it only
Issue with the Zoho Project API
I am issuing a Get all Activities request at the URL http://projects.zoho.com/portal/{myporta}/api/private/xml/dashb?[mydata] and receiving an error code 6501 - 'inpurt parameter doesn't match' The parameters I am sending are: "projId": [valid id], "auditIndex": "", "range": "", "username": "all" Is there a reason this is wrong? Additionally, the get milestone request fails for requests where flag = 'allflag' but works for 'external' and internal. Can this be fixed? Am I doing something wrong?
Zoho Sheet collaboration in Zoho projects
we are using Zoho project to manage project tasks and to share documents in our project. Working with Zoho worksheet editor doesn't enable collaborative work: If two users are working simultaniously on the same zoho worksheet (using Zoho worksheet editor), when we save we get two different versions (according to the sequence of the "save") and we are unaware that someone else is editing the document. We would like to be able to work together on the same sheet (like it works in Zoho Sheets application).
Assign "roles" within users
I have 3 very distinct roles within my organization (Producer, Editor, Graphic Designer). It would be nice to be able to attached these roles to various users and then be able to run reports based on role... sometimes I have several editors work on the same project, and would love to be able to run a report on how much time for a project was spent "editing". Also - would be great if we could attach a "cost" to each resource (employee). Thanks!
Customize homepage
Hi, I'd like to be able to customize how the home page displays information. Currently, I cannot switch the order in which subject headings are shown, e.g. Milestones are shown before meetings but I would like to be able to make it the opposite. Also, it would be convenient to be able to customize the number of updates that show up on the homepage. Currently, my homepage is flooded with all the milestones from our 50 or so projects. This is ridiculous, seeing as many of these milestones are not
List of Uncompleted/Overdue Tasks OR Tasks in order of start date/order
It would be useful to be able to view all Outstanding/Uncompleted Tasks, or view them in order under the "Tasks & Milestones". It would be better if under reports, you had menu buttons for GANTT or List, and keep the Previous/This month buttons. Does anyone else have this requirement?
Reports: Last Month - This Month - but no NEXT MONTH?
Under Reports there are buttons to view "Previous Month" and to view "Current Month", but no "Next Month". You have to 1. Choose the "Select Month" button 2. Select the month required (its not preset to the current month! ) 3. Click This is three clicks instead of one, which is 3 times less efficient. And you can't use the keyboard to do this either. Anyone else find this an issue?
Task details page
In the Tasks&Milestones view, when a particular task is clicked, it brings a page which look like empt page. In fact it shows the page scrolled down and show very bottom of the page. To be able see the task, one needs to page up a few pages to get rid of that blankless :) -Jale

The documentation for Project Milestones says the response includes MilestoneDetail but what's actually returned in the response is MilstoneDetail. Regards, Adrian.
Initial Document Version
Is there any way to specify the initial version of a document when uploading? It seems the initial version is always set to 1.1 and increments to 1.2, 1.3 etc on subsequent uploads. It would be very useful if the version could be specified, or even better if it was extracted from the document metadata (if available). It would also be useful if the default version increment could be specified, e.g. going from version 1 to version 2 instead of 1.1 to 1.2 Thanks, Adrian.
Document Sorting.
Doesn't appear as if documents are sortable via "document" or "folder" name. This would be a very helpful feature. If it is possible, then it doesn't appear to be intuitive. rmills
Paragraph breaks disappear (in admin msg. to team)
I just sent an "all hands" welcome note to my project team to explain the invitations they were about to receive. I sent using "send message" under the "users" tab on the dashboard. My own copy of same arrived without ANY paragraph breaks. What is up with that? Does the system strip out all line breaks before it transmits? And if yes, does stripping apply to any other interactions between email and the Zoho space?
Meeting Time is not Correct
I have setup a recurring meeting for 9:30am. I have also set the reminder for my team for 15 Mins before the meeting. When I click on the Meetings tab, I look at the meeting and it shows Meeting @9:15am. This time is reflecting my meeting time minus the 15 min reminder. This is not a huge problem, just annoying because the weekly calender shows the correct time of 9:30am.
Upload files in a free account
I created a new project with my free account but i'm not able to upload files and documents! I read that free account allows to upload files for max size of 100MB..Doesn't is it true?!? Can't i upload any files? Thanks for any suggestion! Davide
Migrate Project Forum to the new Zoho Discussion Forum
I have two different projects going leveraging Zoho Projects. One of the projects is beginning to heavily leverage the Forums aspect. However, we are getting long strings of replies that you need to scroll up and down to keep track of the conversation as opposed to the new ZD format where you can "reply" or "comment" about a specific post. As a "comment" it then stacks the comment under the reply it is attached to as opposed to simply adding it to the bottom of the stream. any thoughts of integrating
Is it best to have one account if we are managing 50 clients with Zoho Projects
Hello: We are in the web design/project business. How can we best manage 50 clients, with multiple projects per client? Would these be divided up into 'Group/Groupings'? Also, each client may share one of our resources (i.e. an individual worker) with another client. That said, is it best to have one account containing all our clients, or (say) one account per client?

my Work Calendar renders differently than Project Calendar
If I click on "my Work Calendar" >show >all Milestones or >all Todos the calendar shows the milestones and Tasks as "1 Task(s)" or "1 Milestone" If I go to a Project Calendar and filter by Tasks and Milestones it shows me the names of the tasks and milestones directly on the calendar. This is a much more useful way to show events on the calendar and saves alot of clicking compared to the work calendar. Is there a reason that these two types of Calendars render differently? Suggestions: Make the Work
Associated document
In the tasks&milestones view some tasks are marked with yellow page icon on the left hand side of the task description. When you drag the mouse onto that yellow sign it says "Show Notes" but this is misleading since that yellow flag is turned on for 2 different reasons: task has either notes below it or documents attached to it. If the task doesn't have notes but has documents attached, when you click "Show Notes" it shows no notes/nothing to explain what is different for that task and the meaning
RSS feed very slow
Hello, we use the general rss feed Zoho Projects as a news bulletin on LCD screen in our office. We have about 80 projects running, this causes the slow rss feed? (a lot of time outs)
