Notes on Tasks
Task notes are awful! Without the ability to notify someone I have more work to do finding out if something is being worked on. If you cannot fix them to notify people, please remove them and force us to use forums (which are essentially the same thing with more functionality). Steve Steve Krull

Date format
To fix the date format issue your help guide suggests going to 'More Actions' then 'Applications settings'. When using Zoho sheet, there is no 'Applications settings' button. I have set the general Date Format to dd/mm/yy but when I import spreadsheets they all resort to the mm/dd/yy format. How do I fix this?
Meeting Reminders
When setting up a meeting is there a way to set it so that there are no reminders? I'm trying to show when I'm not in the office and there is no need to be reminded of this. Thanks!
Unable to close task assigned to me due to parent task
Hello, I'm unable to close a task assigned to me, the setup goes something like this: Milestone -Task list --Parent task (owned by person A) ---Task (owned by person B) ---Task (owned by person B) Person B cannot close the tasks assigned to him. It gives an error message "Task cannot be closed. Kindly close all parent task(s) for this task before closing this task." I did not create the tasks, so I'm not even sure how a parent task was created in the first place. I find no mention of it in the Help
Task Export
When I export ALL Tasks/ALL Logins from a project, I am not getting a complete data set. I have tried both CSV & XLS and both fail. The export I am looking at counts 16 open tasks. Browsing the project I count at least 25. Please correct this issue. Steve Krull
can not edit task in "my home" page
have to click the task and navigate to project page to edit. then need go back to edit other tasks. hopefully the task can be edited in "my home" page, much easier Steven

Hi! As all you know, I guess, I love Zoho and your work. I want to suggest you: the first thing we should see when open Zoho Projects must be General on Task and Milestones. You will see: for instance me: I am handling there four kinds of things. 1) Important and urgent things, 2) Important but nor urgent things, 3) Urgent but not important things and 4) Not important and not urgent things. It would be helpful to add a notes field to a person's profile. The user could edit it and have it be seen by all others. Lionel Silva

Tasks and Milestones not showing

recurring meetings
I would like to schedule a meeting on the 2nd Monday of each month. When I say to recur monthly, it puts it on the same DATE each month. Also, the hover text on the meeting in the meetings tab shows the meeting as occurring daily for 10 occurrences, however it's on the calendar only monthly. dfleasure

Clients cannot see milestones/tasklists under different projects
Hi, I have recently started working on Zoho projects. I have added clients to multiple projects but none of them are able to see anything when they log in. No milestones, no tasklists, nothing. I added myself as a client (using a different mail ID) and whe i log in using my client ID i see only the users box on the left and only my profile is on it, none of the other clients or admin are visible. Can I change the admin email address owner of a project portal? Can I change the subdomain name (the part in the URL before projects.zoho.com)? If not, can I migrate all the contents of an existing project portal to a new one (with the new name)?
Upgrade not processed?
Hi there, I just purchased a 10-project subscription (4 hours ago?) and created a new projects account to associate with this subscription (i.e. I did not sign into any account when I purchase the subscription). But it still says I'm using the free plan. Is there a delay for activating my subscription on the account? Thanks! alison

A huge thanks to you people. Today I opened my account at Zoho Projects and in about an hour or two my project was setup. Sending a message
When I want to select users to Send a Message, I have to select their email address. I think it would be much easier to select their name because you don't always know the email of the person you are trying to send a message. Currently, I have to go to the roster and figure out what the email is of the user to which I want to send a message. What do you think? Walter Borges

About "completed" date
Hello, I would like that when I complete an activity, the date displayed was the date I said the task was made or planned, not the system date. For example, today is January 16th, and since I came from Holiday, I am updating my last year tasks, but the date that is displayed is today. link to project in the email sent on new entry in a forum
I managed many project and when receiving an email regarding a new entry on a forum, I just get the name of the project, not the link to that project. which means I need 2 to 3 clicks to get to that forum entry : select the project in the list, select the forum... too long Can you improve that ? Time zone errors
British Summer Time (BST) appears as "GMT+0". This is wrong as BST is GMT+1. I do think that you need to look at the time zones as they're all over the place, with many repeated. It is a mess. ntahall
All tasks have disappeared!!!
I entered several tasks for a project we're working on, and suddenly, they've disappeared from view in every place except the dependency view and the calendar. I can tell that they're somewhere (I can also export them), but they just won't show up where I need them! When I click on a task to edit from one of those places (Calendar or dependency view), it take me back to the Tasks & Milestones: General tab, and there's nothing there. Ideas?
Domain DNS
Hi, I just registered my business domain. How do I enable it to work with Zoho Projects? Say for example my web domain is Contoso.com. I configured my DNS to forward myname.projects.zoho.com to projects.contoso.com, however is there an official Help that shows how to do this? I think I may have not setup this correctly as it still forwards the user to myname.projects.zoho.com. I don't want this to be immediately visible from the browser. Please advise. Adding new users not working
I have previously not had trouble adding users to Projects - but for the past two days, I have been unable to add users on any level. I need to add one user as an Admin, and three others as managers. When I click Add User, it returns a blank form and does not appear to add the user. No email notifications are sent. There is a page error in the bottom left corner - not sure if this is the problem? All suggestions appreciated! I am excited about using Zoho Projects.
Wrong calculation in Project Timesheet
I am addin two tasks in my timesheet. One with 1.50 hours and one with 9.50. The timesheet applcation caluculates this to 11.40. Help?
Email templates
Perhaps I just can't find it (being new to Projects) but where can I customise email? In most other Zoho products (like Invoice) you can customise emails easily but where is this feature in Projects? At the moment I get HTML entities in emails (eg Task Assignment notification). So could we please have the ability to customise emails like the other Zoho products or perhaps someone can point me in the right direction... Thank you
Users shown "online" even when they are not
There is a bug in the bottom left Users windows. My colleagues are highlighted as online, even when they are not. Richard

I have created task list templates and then want to take 7 or 8 and assign to one person. At this point I can not , i have to edit each one separately - correct? paul Cross
Adding my fidnigns to a task
I have created 100 task for my team to complete a job - when they click on the NOTES icon net to a task they cannot upload there finding for me without first uploading the documentation then assigning. It would be good to be able to upload their findings in one step without cutting and pasting into the note area, when they are documents I need to pull down from . Any ideas? paul Cross

meetings - time zone
Meetings are being shown as having already occurred, even though the time of the meeting has not passed. It is as if zoho thinks that the project timezone is different than it should be. dfleasure
