Print/Export Option in Reports
Hey folks, I love the fact that in task/milestone view the print function works like it does (printing only the meat). Reports are another issue though...while the print gives me only the meat it limits to 10 items..meaning I need to print 9 pages - ugh. How about a view/print option with selectable # of records and/or an export to CSV/Excel option?

Document Templates?
Hello! We're a not-for-profit, volunteer-run organization hoping to use Zoho Projects to collaboratively manage our group and plan its events. I would like to post an Agenda Template and a Meeting Minutes Template. In Projects I created a New Document and saved it as "Agenda Template". Now, a group member has to be able to either make a copy of the template and then rename it (calling it "2008 September 13 Agenda", for example) or else open the document and then "Save As..." using the desired filename.
Tip 9: Shortcut to add user to an Organization.
The usual method followed to add user to an Organization is via Settings link in the top right corner of the projects window -----> People View -----> Add User. Instead you can click on "New User" on the User Panel in the left side of the project window and add user to an Organization. Making Zoho Writer Document Available in Projects?
Hello! I've created a document in Zoho Writer which I would now like to make available to our Projects team. I used the same Zoho account to log onto Writer as I do to log onto Projects. (It is an Administrator account in Projects.) I can't figure out how to make this document available in Projects. (I suppose I could save it to my local hard drive and then import it into Projects, but I can't believe it could be that cumbersome.) I appreciate your help. Steven

Hi, I find the zoho projects service very good. We are using it to track documents and the tagging function is useful. However, I have two questions: a) is there a way we can search our documents by filename instead of just by tag and by extension? b) Is there a way to display the tags alphabetically and vertically instead of just by popularity? Trouble adding clients
I have tried and tried to add clients to the client view of my project, but it just doesn't work! I can create a client company, but I cannot assign the company to projects or add client users to it. I have tried it with Firefox and Safari.... on Mac OSX 10.4. I was able to do this in the past, but not now...
Add Comments to Uploaded Documents
Is there currently a way to add comments to uploaded doc's in Projects? This would useful as well for different users modifying a doc. I understand I can use the forum, however, it would be useful to link a forum post to a specific document, and even better to add comments within the document section.
Tasks taking less than 1 day - how?
The single biggest reason for us not adopting Zoho Project is the (seeming) inability to create tasks of less than 1 day in duration. For example, we may allocate 4 hours to revising a website design - or even smaller units - potentially 8 individual tasks in a day. Yet I am only able to allocate 1 day as the smallest unit of time. So a milestone may have a duration of 1 day with eight tasks within it each allocated 1 day to complete - 8 into 1 never worked for me :-( Am I missing something here?

Problem with changing date format - Bug
Hi, I tried to change the date format (to dd/mm/yyyy) for my project from settings. Once I did that I tried to include a new milestone. When doing so The start date is in this format 31/07/2008 and The end date comes up as Aug 04 2008 Also while trying to save my milestone entry. It gives an error that the enddate cannot be before the start date. This happens for any changes in the date formats. Kindly have a look. - ash# ashgene

Altering final & major milestone date
I have recently completed a project. All the task lists & their tasks have been completed. However, I misjudged the final & major milestone date by 3 weeks. Is there anyway I can change this date, and bring it forward eg. make it 3 weeks earlier? Thanks.

Hello, I'm trying out Zoho and don't see exactly what function the Make a Task/TaskList a Template offers? The help says it saves the layout and settings, but I don't see how this is setup or edited. Once something has been setup as a Task List template how can you later edit or delete it? Thanks!
Dependancy View and overlapping dates.
Can you fix dependancy view so that when you add a dependency with a overlapping date it will just move the start date of the task with the predecessor to the next day after the predecessor end date? It is SUCH a pain to click back and forth to change dates on projects just so you can add a predecessor. stewart.scott
Probable bugs
I created a user with an email id, which i then deleted. however when i try creating that user again with the same id it gives a username of its own choice and wont let me change it. also i set 5 tasks of which two were completed. i set them to 100% and they they correctly went to the completed list. under reports i can see them in list view but not in chart view. it says no completed to do task available. its a little strange thats all. thanks, this service is fantastic. It would be great if we could just simply assign a whole task list to a selected team members...instead of going through each and every task after we've added them and assigning them one at a time i just had to assign over 100 tasks! but LOVING ZOHO.... only 3 days deep in it! dgmanagement
