How do I change my email?
I want to change the email that Zoho uses for my account, but I don't see how I can change it. Email is not a field available when I edit my profile. How do I change it? - TIA - Paul
Task Item Due Date - Not just Start and End Date
Is it possible to have Task Due dates, instead of just a Start and End date? I see that it is valuable to track the actual start, end dates ... but for dependencies, and when a project is initially started may only need/know the 'due' date... not how long it will take. For example, on my project I have some client task requirements - I don't know when they will start... but I do know when I need to have them completed by for other dependencies. Coby Pachmayr

My Zoho Projects service doesn't seem to be working
My Zoho Projects service doesn't seem to be working. The site will not allow me to upgrade [it gives me a message to "See my project administrator"]. I am the only user and therefor should be the project administrator. Also, I can't seem to add new projects. There seems to be some sort of problem that is not allowing me to use or upgrade the service. Please advise. jgreene
Dependencies and resource usage/time
I am liking this program more and more. Though there are several areas lacking. It needs more details on setting and managing the tasks parameters particulary Dependencies where one task cannot begin until another is ended and setting a task to auto start based on the end of another therefore only needing the duration of effort to map it. is there any way to change our portal ulr once it has been chosen? i started a dummy version yesterday and realized i needed to start over so th work email would be the admin. i deleted that account but now the portal URL i used yesterday is not available. changing the portal url
Hi, I recently created a project on here and my team started filling in all the project details, tasks, and milestones. We're really like to change the portal URL though, because during the sign up I did not realize that that URL would be used for the whole team, so I just put my username. I'd prefer the company name to be in the portal URL. Any way to fix this? We are not willing to start from scratch with a new account. Thanks
user login not working
some of our users seems not to be able to login to Zoho Projects. On the entry screen they input required information and hit enter, but the website just "hang up" (freezes with no reaction. Deleting cookies does not help. I read it is to do with some plugins in IE, however the only plugin the user has is Norton (antivirus or firewall???) and in my view this should not hinder logging in to a website. Hiding the left Projects and Users Panels
I personally would like to be able to hide the Projects and Users panel on the left hand side. Once I am working on a project I have never needed to use these panels and would prefer to use the space for the other views (eg Tasks, Documents, Timesheet etc). future enhancement?
it would be great to be able to clear history of files without having to delete and republish. We have a fairly large file that gets saved daily with our latest changes. Every time we do that it saves a new version and we don't necessarily need all of the file history. We'll need to upgrade for more space anyway but this would just help us control it better. thanks! Uploading new versions of files
When uploading new versions of files you should be able to upload a file with a different name than the original file. For instance i use "document.doc" for the first document, then "document v2.doc" for the second (local) version, and i am not allowed to upload it as a new version of the file! Piotr Borowiec

I just signed up, and the Zoho service seems promising, but there is a feature missing that I personally consider crucial: I need my tasks to have a comment area to put notes related to that task. It seems simple enough to implement. Am I missing something, or is that not available? jsw127

Fatal flaw
Hello. I was very impressed by some of Zoho's features, but one problem seems, to me, a fatal flaw: The system requires us to define dependencies between activities AND starting and finishing dates for them as well. That is precisely a key feature of a planning tool -- given the dependencies between activities, when shoud we start each of the critical ones, in order to complete the project on time. This is also how we calculate the necessary time for the project, given the way we plan to execute

Hello, One of the most important big picture reports for me is a project gantt. Basically, combine your open/closed gantt in to one report, and double up lines on all milestones, one is a scheduled line, the other is a progress line. Any chance you have plans to add this? Thanks, -paul.
Is there an access control over an document is being edited?
Hello! I would like to know if there is any access control like the concept of "checking out/in" of a document when a user is editting a file in the file folder using ZoHo document tool such as word. An scenario would occurs that a user A is currently editing a document using Zoho Word while user B is downloading the file. I would assume that there is no way for User B to know that the file is being edited by user A. A further seceario would be that B download the file and edit on his/her computer

Gantt-chart not displaying in Firefox on OS X / Vista
Having some problems when looking at reports, specifically the task graph view and milestones graph view - have tested with firefox 2.0.0.14 on Vista and OS X 1.5 and also latest Safari in OS X - when viewing REPORTS and Task Graph View it only shows a "broken image"-picture instead of the Gantt-chart - I am pretty sure I have been able to view the chart earlier, a couple of weeks ago. Have tested on 2 separate machines, one pc and a mac. Just tested it in Explorer 7.0.6001.18000 and same thing there,
Email notification on task creation
Hi, One of my favorites sites! Congrats! It would be great to be able to at a note to the task so that when notification email is sent the user sees the note with further explanation. Extending templates
Hello. I think the Task List templates are great. However, we have several tasklists within a single project. It would be nice to also include entire Milestone Templates or Project Templates, since many of our projects follow the same process. Currently we're stuck with having to create over a dozen Task Lists, and this could speed up administration if we just clicked a single Project Template. Thanks.
Are Archived projects charged?
Hi all, i am planning to upgrade from free version to Standard plan. It supports 10 projects and i was wondering if only the live projects - the ones that are actively managed, not archived - are charged for. For example, having 1 project running and 9 archived, will i be able to create 9 new projects (as long as i don't re-activate the others)? Thanks, Marco
DOcuments not saving properly
Hi I was jsut taking minutes for a 2 hour meeting. I saved throughout the meeting. However when I oepened the file to check it, all the notes were missing. We have lost a lot of important notes about decsisions made etc. This means I am not terribly confident in this as a product. Seems like the UPLOAD LATEST VERSION for documents might have a bug in it. There are times i can upload latest and there are no problems but there are times when i upload and nothing happens and am forced to start new thread. Is this a known issue? jlin82

The way we plan to use zoho projects, we will require a couple more people added as admins. Can this be achieved? Or can one manager on a project assign another user as a manager? Any help in these two matters will be appreciated. Thanks, jsahas

Possible Bug with Due Date / Start Date / End Date
Scenario for duplication: You create a Task that is Due on the May 1st - since you don't know when you will start the task, you set May 1st as the Start/End Date so that the task will appear on the calendar, and the dependency functions are available. You start the project on April 29 (starting the timer); you work on the task a few hours each day until April 30 - at which time you mark it complete. File not uploaded despite message "File upload successf
At the moment I can't upload a new file into one of my projects. Selecting the file on my disk works fine, as does entering comments and tags, but when I click on "Upload file", the file is not uploaded, despite the fact that the page reloads and displays the message "File upload successful". The file I'm trying to upload is neither overly large (PDF 300kb) nor have I reached the allocated disk space on Zoho. Creating a new file by using Zoho Writer works, but uploading files is not possible.
