what is the difference between a late task and a overdue task ?
Hello I don't get this exact only if y look at my reports y get 56% late task but only 3% overdue tasks !!!! Can anyone give me an explaition what this two status mean Thx Rainer
Task duration should be customizable
I can't find where to change the default task duration from days to hours or minutes. To make this tool useful, it should accomodate tasks durations in hours and minutes. That way, projects total time can be measued correctly. webmaster
Poor formatting of text send from email to forum
Text from a mail client sent to Zoho Projects Forum often has a lot of extra lines and poor formatting. Is there any way to fix this? Zoho projects does not seem to be handling some of this text well.

Hello, I'm using free plans of Zoho Projects and Zoho Bugtracker. Bugs in my bugtracker are assigned to specific project, but I can see and manage them only from address bugtracker.zoho.com. How to enable managing bugs from projects.zoho.com site? I'm not able to click "bugs" from project level, but I can do this from portal. There I can see mesage: "Bugtracker is FREE for one project. Do you want to create Bugs for this project. Click Here " - but when I try to click, it returns me to dashboard
Save a project as a template?
I couldn't find an easy way to save a current project as a project template. Would be a lot easier than recreating the wheel! I see that we can import task templates which is good but would be great to import a whole project as a template. thanks! -Dan Dan Golden

Drag and Drop - Task Lists and Sub Tasks
I think it's time drag and drop was implemented for moving reordering and moving tasks and subtasks. You should be able to move things within a project and between projects by clicking and dragging them. Some tools use grip bars to do this, but in almost all the other task list tools I've used this is a feature. PLEASE add drag and drop to task lists and sub tasks.

ZOHO Rest API, some tasks are missing for some projects?
Hi im trying to get tasks for all my projects, im looping index and range upto total task count. but for some of the projects 2, 3 tasks are missing but actually its shows it in task count. for example if i have 271(open+ closed) tasks for a particular project it returns only 267 tasks as response 4 tasks where missing, i cant find why this happening. can any one have any idea about this?. any one please help me. Can't change ownership of a portal
According to the FAQ, there should be a Change Portal Owner option in Admin Settings. However, I don't have that option there. I am using the free plan. Is that option available only for the paid plans? If the option is not available in a free plan, I would request Zoho support to change ownership manually. What I need, precisely, is changing the ownership of the portal and then have the new owner upgrade to a paid plan. Any help? Thanks.

Hi, I am new to ZOHO projects, me and my team created a project which was almost in Testing stage and thus created 4-5 tasks. As the task's were getting completed team kept completing the task to 100% and thus it got closed. Roles for Timesheets
When will we be able to set the project roles a person is working as, when logging time on a task? Without this capability, we are unable to use Zoho Reports with Projects, and have to export time sheets to excel to do all reporting. Employees log their role at the beginning of the notes section, then we parse it out in excel. Does anyone else have employees working different roles/billing rates on a single project?

The colors are so washed out on the screen. Red looks like pink etc. You can barely see the patterns. If this is something we are using all day to manage our business it would be helpful to have more choices in the color spectrum at the very least. Richer more vibrant colors and patterns shouldn't be too hard to do. Unless I'm missing something. Or even upload a custom background photo would be great. thx for any help.
Cannot Access Gantt Charts & Kanban Boards in Free Plan
Hello, I cannot access the Gantt charts & Kanban boards. I have a freebie version, but my understanding is that I am still supposed to have a limited access version in the free plan. Despite what is written in the online documentation, Tasks & Milestones are separate menu options. On either one, I cannot find the Gantt chart selection. Also, I used to have access to a Kanban board. I don't mean the bug tracker - I mean all tasks in general. Is this still available for the freebie version as well?
Overview on in progress tasks
Hi, i have a question about the overview on the in progress tasks. On every task we create we set a start and due date. We would like all our people to look into their 'in progress tasks' on the webclient. The only problem is that the overview sorts on start date instead of due date. The iOS app and Android app have the 'upcoming' overview, where you can sort on due date. Is taht in anyway also possible on the webclient? Thanks!

Who else would like to see Milestones, Tasklists and Tasks on same Gantt View??
Am I the only one who would like to see my milestones, tasklists and task on the same page? For me, it will really help in meetings where I am trying to brief my Management on the current status of a project. Ideally, this option would exist on the Gannt view. Right now, I can see tasks or milestones on a single Gantt, not both. Also, the tasklist grouping disappears entirely from the Gantt view.
