Managing independent contractors
A number of our placements are with clients that need contracted consultants for a specific period of time or project. Payment is by the hour or project. As facilitator we take a percentage. Payment between the parties is through our payment gateway. Does Zoho Recruit have the wherewithal to manage this process? If not, is there a solution within the Zoho suite or could someone recommend another platform?

Is there anyway via the API to have a job search box on a web page on a wordpress site? How are users integrating recruit capabilities into their own custom websites? I can't really use the existing career site, it's formatting is just too limiting. Could you provide some examples?

Hi, We get the open positions listed on our website via API. This works fine for displaying all the available job openings. How can I link now to a candidate application form for a specific position (not just generic candidate application form)? I have created an candidate application form in ZOHO, but I am not sure I can pass any values to that? Seaching/Filtering by REGION
I currently have approximately 44,000 Candidate records. They all have City Name and Zip Codes. I want to be able to select Candidates by Region, for example, anyone in the Bay Area, or anyone in Downtown San Francisco. (So there are multiple non-contiguous Zip Code ranges and multiple City Names). Other than creating a User-Defined Field and manually Mass-Updating that field, does anyone have a better solution? API LOGIN for Recruiter
Can we use the API to do a LOGIN form for the recruiter (NOT ADMIN RECRUITERS BECAUSE THEY ARE USING A TOKEN) so that once the recruiter logs in, it will be able do job posting and other features which available for the recruiter. Thanks!

Problem uploading CVs
Hi, I'm having issues uploading CVs for candidates using the ZOHO Recruit API. I can create records, and even upload text files as CVs, but when I try to upload binary files, it doesn't work, and I get a 9500 error with no further explanation. I'm encoding the document data in base 64, as specified in the API. Updating Multipicklist value for Candidate Module
I have a multipicklist filed for my candidates module The Values for the fields are 1. A, B & C 2. C,D,E & F When updating the records using API . The values are not updated in the Zoho. When the values are 1. A 2. B 3. C Its working. i think the Comma and Ampersand symbol in the value breaks the XML. Please guide me on this issue.

I would love the ability to export a record into some of the standard forms that new employees have to fill, such as the I-9 Employment Eligibility Authorization, the W-4 Federal Tax Withholding Form, and our Georgia state form. Each of these forms are available as an editable PDF online, or can be downloaded. Has anyone tried this?
Possible to use only HTML and Javascript to access the APIs?
Our main site apparently does not support any scripting except Javascript. Is it possible to use just Javascript and use the API calls to get authentication tokens and use the "AddRecord" API in Recruit? Thanks!

Marketing Specialism's OR Skill set not posting via API
Hi Not able to get any data into the Marketing Specialism's fields via the API. I suspect this is because there is an apostrophe in the field title! (Who would do that??) Also the API documentation is erroneous, which it appears to be in several places, as that asks for 'Skill set'. Attach CV not working
Hi, I'm using the API on a website to write candidate data into Zoho recruit. It mostly works fine except the attach file doesn't work. I've searched various forums and found a number of people have had this issue. I am using base64 to encode the file, I'm using the <FL val=" 1 - Attach resume "> parameter and leaving a space before the attachment name (something that was suggested). None of which work. Would like to get a quick overview or guide on how to integrate a Zoho Recruit API into my main website pages. Basically, I want to have the client fill out a form and then "POST" the form fields into ZOHO Job Openings database thereby creating a Job Posting by the user directly from the main website.
