Importing a pdf document into Zoho Writer

Increase size of sidebar
I want to be able to increase size of sidebar which shows my docs. I'm unable to see the full title of my files and either have to hove over them to check the title or actually click (sometimes its the document I need...sometimes, its not)

What I am really looking for is a great outliner. Do you know of one? E.g. that will do multi-level outlines (with customizable labels) and which can be collapsed/expanded--just like Word. That would be a great product. Perhaps OPML is appropriate to build it around? spincycle

How to set Zoho writer's sidebar permanently to an extended position just like it used to be before, or it still is in ZOHO sheet? thank you.
Dear community, since today 16 July the side bar, ( the one with the list of my writer documents available) is not standartly visible. I can only open it but pressing the dropout button and then it jumps out to the right. My problem is that the bar covers the part of the document. Due to the reason that i often have to jump between tenth of the documents I need this side bar to be opened all the time, As in Zoho sheet for examle. MAy be it is as skin issue? But I never have touched any of the skin
copy and paste
So now all I want to do is copy and paste a word, and it pastes the word UNDERNEATH the line where I want the word to go. Close doesn't cut it when it comes to copy/paste. Is it really that hard?
Notification of edited shared docs
I see how to share my documents, and I see that I can easily email the others with whom I am sharing my documents. But when they change the document, I would like one of these to happen: - Either provide a way for them to inform me that they have read and edited my document or - have the system automatically email all people on the "shared" list for a document that the document has been edited. cut and pasting images and text.....
WHen I cut and paste text and an image from one document to another, the images do not remain in the same places. For example, if an image is set to wrap around text to the left, when I cut and paste from one document to another, it does not wrap, and has to be reset. Is there a way to do this so the images remain in place?

Might it be possible to add a timestamp button? I use Zoho for journalling and would find this most helpful. If you could select how the timestamps would look that would be way cool as well. German spell check a bit sketchy
Lots of false positives and it almost always marks correctly spelled words as incorrect for a second then changes it. This is especially true when importing or copy-pasting content into a document. Zoho's multilingual spell checking is still much better than Google Docs or LibreOffice, both of which are just plain unusable.

I'd like to know if there is a feature to change the authorship of a zoho document, or when you save it in a different format like docx (not just change who the owner of the document is). I'd also like to know if there is a way to delete the personal information that may be attached to a document. Header or Background Graphic for Letterhead
Hi there, Is there a way where we can put our letterhead graphic in the background of a text document in Writer? Or I can split the image up and put the top part in the header and the bottom in the footer. The reason is so that I can save out the end result as a PDF and email, fax etc... Thank you, Kyle
column width in inserted tables

MS Word Documents, zoho Writer has far too many bugs I would LOVE to cut the cord with Microsoft. I work for a large company (44K employees). I uploaded one of my more simple reports - word doc with styles, tables of contents/figures/photos; embedded photos. Tables. Half of my 2.2MB document was dropped without warning. table listing references to photos (a new type I added instead of "figure") - missing. Centering table
it does not appear there is an easy way to center a table (left-to-right). If you play with the selection so as to grab the span, you can do it. But its a hack and it has side affects. ibegrea
Right to Left
Zoho Writer is really wonderful! but please don't forget that some languages are Right to Left! not left to right! I would be happy if I found those two lovely RTL and LTR buttons on the Zoho tool bar!
Lines are removed in mail merge
I created a document in Zoho Docs with a mail merge. When I perform the merge, two lines of text are removed thus issuing the merged document useless. Because of this I have to abandon the use of Zoho Docs for this particular project and use WPS Office. Pre-merge and post-merge screenshots are attached.
Image text wrap inconsistent
There are inconsistencies in the text wrap for images. I have attached a screen shot of a document with a 4 cell table. Each cell contains the same exact content and the text wrap for each image is the same. But for the cells in the right column the text will not wrap as it does int he right column.

Its simply not right. when you write a comma or any punctuation, its appear on the right corner, instead of appearing on the left, right after the last word in the sentence. Hope you can fix it as soon as possible. Roy. royaz
