Issue signing in via Google: Error 403 disallowed_useragent

You may encounter this error when you try to sign in to a Zoho app via Google on your mobile device.

What happened?

Google restricts users from signing in to their account in a native mobile app if a compatible web browser is not installed in the mobile device. See the details of supported browsers by Google.
If a supported browser is not installed, you will be shown this error when you try to sign in via Google.

How to resolve this issue?

To sign in to the app:

Solution 1

  1. If you are an Android user, install Google Chrome or Firefox on your mobile device.
  2. If you are an iOS user, install Safari on your mobile device.
Once you have installed the browser, open the Zoho app and try signing in via Google.

Solution 2

  1. Instead of tapping Sign in using Google, enter your email address in the username field.
  2. Click Next. An OTP will be sent to your Gmail inbox.
  3. Enter the OTP, then click Verify.
