Permanent deletion of the domain from your Zoho account

Permanent deletion of the domain from your Zoho account

When you delete a domain from your Zoho account, all your associated email addresses and subdomains with that domain will be marked as unverified upon your approval (check below image).

What happens after deletion?

Once you approve the deletion of the domain, the following will be carried out based on the status of the domain. Check whether your domain is active in Zoho accounts or expired.

If your domain is currently active in Zoho accounts:

The email addresses associated with the domain will be marked as unverified. These unverified addresses and their data are kept in a "soft-delete" state for a few days before being permanently wiped from Zoho’s servers. This action is irreversible and you cannot retrieve data once it is permanently deleted.

If your domain is already expired:

If your domain is already expired, the domain along with all the associated email addresses including their data will be permanently deleted from the Zoho's server. This action is irreversible.
