SAML Integration with Azure

Accessing Zoho via Azure using SAML

  1. Sign in to your Microsoft Azure portal as an admin.
  2. Under Azure services , click Azure Active Directory (or) find Active Directory using the search bar at the top.
  3. Click Enterprise applications under Manage in the left navigation menu.
  4. Click All Applications, then click New application.
  5. If your Zoho URL has a generic top-level domain (gTLD) like .com:
    1. Type "Zoho" in the search application field, then click Zoho Accounts.
    2. Click Create.
    If your Zoho URL has a country code top-level domain (ccTLD) like .com.cn, .in, .com.au, or .eu:
    1. Click Create your own application.
    2. Enter a name for your application under What's the name of your app?.
    3. Select Integrate any other application you don't find in the gallery, then click Create.
  6. You will be redirected to a new page. There, click Set up single sign-on under the Getting Started section.
  7. Select SAML.
  8. In the setup page, go to Step 3: SAML Signing Certificate, and download Certificate (Base 64).
  9. Go to Step 4: Set up {application name}, and copy the Login URL and Logout URL.
  10. Sign in to accounts.zoho.com.
  11. Configure SAML in your Zoho account using the downloaded certificate and copied URLs from Azure.
    1. Paste the Login URL in the Sign-in URL field.
    2. Paste the Logout URL in the Sign-out URL field.
    3. Upload the Certificate in the X.509 Certificate field.
  12. Once you have configured SAML in your Zoho Account, download the metadata file and open it using your browser.
  13. From the metadata file, copy and save the Entity ID and ACS URL.
  14. Return to the Azure portal, go to Step 1: Basic SAML Configuration, then click the pencil icon to edit.
  15. Paste the copied Entity ID in the Identifier field.
  16. Paste the copied ACS URL in the Reply URL field.
  17. Click Save.
