Important: If yours is an organization with multiple users present, refer to
this help article for instructions. This article is applicable only to personal accounts and single-user organization accounts.
Things to know before
-
Closing account: When you close your account, all the data associated with your account will be deleted, as stated in our
privacy policy. This includes the data present in the Zoho apps you use. This deletion is permanent and the data cannot be recovered.
-
Closing organization: If you're an organization administrator, you can either choose to close only the organization or close both the organization and your account. If you choose to close only the organization, all the data associated with your organization apps will be deleted. Your account will be converted into a personal account and you can continue to use your personal apps.
- If you're an organization user, then you won't be able to close your account on your own. You need to contact your organization administrator to close it.
Initiate the closing process
-
Go to
accounts.zoho.com.
-
Click
Settings
in the left menu, then click

Note: Once you've initiated the process, it is not necessary to complete all the steps at once. If you're unable to complete a specific step at the moment, you're allowed to come back after a short time and resume where you left off.
