Zoho Analytics integrates with Zoho Cliq to enable easy collaboration among the members of an organization. This integration makes the Zoho Cliq chat bar available from within Zoho Analytics—allowing you to engage in organized conversations and track communication easily.

Chatting using Zoho Cliq

1. What is Zoho Cliq?

Zoho Cliq is a messaging service for team collaboration. It enables your team to engage in organized conversations and track those conversations easily.

With this integration, you can access Zoho Cliq chat right from the Zoho Analytics interface to easily collaborate with your organization users. 

2. Who can use the Zoho Cliq integration?

Zoho Cliq integration is included in all plans, including the free plan. 

Setting up group discussions among group members in the workspace is available from the Standard plan and above.

3. How can I integrate with Zoho Cliq?

You can set up the Zoho Cliq integration from the Organization Settings page by following these steps:
  1. Click the Account Settings icon. The Organization Settings page will open.
  2. Open the Feature Control tab. 
  3. Navigate to the Sharing tab. 
  4. The Cliq Integration section allows you to add the Cliq messaging service to Zoho Analytics. Select the following section as needed. 
    1. Chat Bar - Select this checkbox to add the Cliq messaging service into Zoho Analytics. You will be able to chat with your organization members using the chat bar at the bottom. 
    2. Cliq Group - Select this checkbox to allow creating a Cliq group based on the workspace group. This checkbox will be in disabled mode if the Chat Bar checkbox is unselected. 


Once enabled, the Zoho Cliq chat bar will be added at the bottom of the Zoho Analytics app interface. You can also access Zoho Cliq directly. All your organization members will be added as users in Zoho Cliq after enabling this integration.

Collaborating with Users

1. Who can I collaborate with?

You can collaborate with all users (users with any user role) in your organization. 

2. What are the collaboration options?

Zoho Cliq provides the following collaboration options: 
  1. Send instant chat messages
  2. Leave voice messages
  3. Make calls
  4. Conduct meetings
  5. Set up a live broadcast of a meeting

3. How do I collaborate with my organization members?

Once you set up the integration, the Zoho Cliq chat bar will be added at the bottom of the service. All your organization members will also be added as users in Zoho Cliq.  You can collaborate with your users using the Zoho Cliq chat bar. You can also access Zoho Cliq directly.

4. Do I need to share views to collaborate with a user?

No, you don't need to share views with your users to collaborate with them using Zoho Cliq. All your organization members will automatically be added as users in Zoho Cliq.

Yes, you can collaborate with your viewers. 

Collaborating among Groups

1. What is Cliq for Groups?

Cliq for Groups allows you to create a group discussion among  Group members in the workspace. 

2. How do I collaborate among group members?

You can initiate group conversations among your group members by following these steps:
  1. From Explorer, click the Settings tab.
  2. Open the Manage Groups tab.
  3. Hover the mouse over the group for which you want to create a Cliq (chat) group.
  4. Click the Cliq icon that appears. 
  5. A Cliq group will then be created. Now, you can start conversing with your group's members.


Note: The Cliq group and the Workspace group are linked to each other. You cannot add or remove members from the Cliq group.

3. Can I conduct a meeting with a group's members?

Yes, you can conduct meetings with a group's members.

4. How do I manage my Cliq groups?

The Cliq group and the Workspace group are interlinked. You can manage the Cliq group by managing the groups in the workspace. 

5. How can I add or remove users in the chat group?

You can add or remove users in the chat group by adding or removing members in the workspace group. 

6. How can I delete a group chat?

You can delete a group chat by deleting the group in the workspace. Note that the group chat messages will be deleted forever and cannot be restored.
