Block/Exclude IP addresses from PageSense tracking
IP filtering is used to exclude certain IP addresses or IP ranges from showing up on your experiment results. Zoho PageSense allows you to specify the list of IPs that you want to filter and stop collecting visitor information on your web pages. This is a project-level setting, and the IP addresses you add in this section will be applied to all the experiments within a project. This setting will mainly be useful when you want to exclude visitor traffic from your own company, as it helps to filter employees and visitor actions from being tracked in your reports.
Important: PageSense also supports Regex expressions. If you're filtering just one IP address, you can enter it normally, however, if you need to enter multiple IPs, you can also use regular expressions (regEx) to filter a range of addresses.
To exclude an IP address from your project:
1. Click Project Settings on the top bar and select the IP Filter tab.
2. Enter a name (for example, "Work"), select a condition from the dropdown, and then enter the IP address you want to filter from your project. You can click +Add New to include new IP filters.
3. Click Save to exclude the IP address from all experiments within this project.
Excluding an IP Range in your project: If you want to exclude an IP range, you can use regular expressions or directly enter the start and end IP addresses of the range.
