Using Notebook in Slack

Connect Notebook and Slack 
To connect Notebook to your Slack account, follow these steps:
1. Open the Slack desktop app or in your browser.
2. Sign in to your Slack account.
3. Go to the Apps section on the left side panel and tap +.
4. Search for Zoho Notebook.
5. Click Add.




6. Click Add to Slack.










7. Sign in to your Zoho Notebook account.
8. Click Allow.

9. Click Go to Slack.

Save Messages as Notes 

To save a message as a note:

  1. Hover over the chat you want to save as a note.
  2. Click More Actions.
  3. Select Add to Notebook.

      4. Optionally, type a title and choose a notebook to save the message.Share notes as messages

Share Notes as Messages 

To share a note as a message:

  1. Type the command /notebook <search term> in the Slack chat bar. (A list of notes containing the term will be displayed.)
  2. Click Post on the note you want to post as a message.
Create Quick Notes 

To create notes in Slack:

  1. Type the command /addnote <quick note content>.
  2. Organize your quick note by choosing a notebook and giving it a title.
  3. Click Add.

Create Notebooks 

To create notebooks:

  1. Type the command /createnotebook <notebook name>.

Remove Notebook from Slack 

To remove the associated Notebook account from Slack:

  1. Go to the Apps section on the left side panel and tap +.
  2. Look for Zoho Notebook and click Settings.
  3. Click Remove App.
