Overview of Zoho Show for Slack

Zoho Show integrates with many external services to enhance its presentation services. One such integration is that with Slack.

Once the Show app for Slack is installed, the app listing page opens in a new tab. The app lists under the Recent apps in Slack workspace. Refer to the Show-Slack installation section for more details.

In Slack, you can create, list, import, and search presentations from within Slack channels. You can give feedback about Show, and contact its help center from Slack.

Select the installed Show app to access the Home, Messages, and About tabs.

Home tab:

In the app Home tab, you can:

Click Create New to create presentations from scratch in your account
Click Features to view the latest trends in Zoho Show
Click Zoho Show Slack Community or write to show-slack@zohoshow.com to interact with the Show team
Click Import presentations to import Zoho Show presentations within Slack environment
Click My presentations to access all of your presentations in Zoho Show

Messages tab:

In the Messages tab, you can view all the notifications from Zoho Show app. You can convey messages from the Zoho Show app using slash commands. You can use the following slash commands to access Zoho Show app in Slack:

Create presentations (/zs or /zohoshow new) - Creates a new presentation
View existing presentations (/zs or /zohoshow list) - Lists all existing presentations.
Search presentations (/zs or /zohoshow search <keyword>) - Searches presentations whose name contains the given keyword.
Import presentations (/zs or /zohoshow import) - Allows you to import from Slack workspace attachments
Give feedbacks (/zs or /zohoshow feedback) - Allows you to enter comments and share to show-slack@zohoshow.com
Access help files (/zs or /zohoshow help) - Lists all possible slash commands for Show

About tab:

In the About tab, you can review the settings and permissions you've granted for the app. You can also click Start Command to use slash commands in Messages.

In the About tab, you can view the list of commands available and click Start command to begin with entering commands in the Messages section.

About-start commands

You can use either; /zohoshow or /zs for slash commands.

You can also directly enter slash commands in the Messages section to perform actions in Show.
