How many tracks can I add to my agenda?
You can have a maximum of ten tracks in your agenda.
Is there a limit for how many sessions I add to a track?
No, you can add unlimited sessions to a track.
Can I move sessions from one track to another?
Definitely. Just click and drag sessions from one track to another.
Can I create a session without setting the time, hall, or speaker for it?
Yes, you can select the To be announced checkbox below the respective fields when you create your session in the Agenda tab of the Microsite Builder. If the hall and speaker aren't known yet, then this will be shown near each session on the agenda. If you select this checkbox for the session time, then the session will be moved from the timeline to the Sessions not finalized area on the top.
Is there a way to duplicate a session from one track into all my other tracks?
You don't need to duplicate a session to do this. You can click the menu icon for a session and select Common for all tracks. This will populate the selected session into all your tracks and will also automatically add it into any new track you set up.
How do I use tracks in the agenda?
Tracks help you group related sessions under a common tag, (your track name). Add different tracks depending on how you want to categorize your sessions and do one of the following:
- Set the Track Name when you create a session in the Add Session panel.
- Drag existing sessions to the appropriate track in the agenda, or edit a session to add the Track Name.
If I make a change in the agenda, will it be reflected in my live microsite?
No, any change you make to your event agenda should be republished if you want them to be reflected in the live microsite.
How do I undo an action in the agenda?
You can undo or redo any action you perform in the Agenda using keyboard shortcuts:
- Windows: Ctrl + Z and Ctrl + Y
- Mac: Command + Z and Command + Y
Can I edit completed sessions in the agenda?
No, you can't edit a session after it's completed.
Can I duplicate a session in the agenda?
Yes, you can click the menu icon for a session in your agenda and select Duplicate.
How do I import multiple days into the agenda?
To import an agenda that has more than one day, each day’s program information must be added as a separate sheet in your spreadsheet file. You can then import the file as usual in the Agenda tab in the Microsite Builder to update your multiple-day agenda in Backstage. For example, if you have a 3-day event, add the agenda for day 1, day 2, and day 3, in separate sheets.
