Content library
What is the content library?
The content library is where you can store event-related files. There are two libraries available: presentation library and design library. The presentation library is where you can create, upload, store, and manage the presentations for the sessions in your event. The design library is where you can upload and store event images that you use in the microsite design. Note that images added in the Gallery page of the microsite design will not be displayed here.
How can I access the presentation and design library?
Click the Content Library tab in the Event Console. Click the Presentation Library tab to upload your presentations for your sessions. Click the Image Library tab to upload images to use in the design of your microsite. For more information about uploading files to the presentation and design library, click here.
Can I upload presentations to the library before an event starts?
Yes, you can upload presentations to the presentation library as soon as you create your event in Backstage.
Will speakers be able to upload their presentations to the library?
Yes, speakers can upload their presentations from their Backstage account. You can view all the presentations that speakers have uploaded in the Presentation Library, located in the Content Library tab of the Event Console.
Do speakers have permission to view and edit all the presentations in the presentation library?
No, speakers can only view and edit the presentations that they have uploaded.
What are the default images that are added in the design library?
Images that you upload during the planning of your event will automatically be added to the design library. For example, the selected venue image, social media images used for promoting the event, and images used in the microsite design. Note that the images added in the Gallery page of the microsite design will not be displayed in the design library.
What is the maximum size for images that can be added in the image library?
The maximum size for images that you can upload into the image library is 10MB.
What are the supported file formats for presentations in the library?
The following file formats are supported for presentations in the presentation library:
- PPT
- PPTX
- PPS
- PPSX
- ODP
- SXI
- ZSLIDES
What are the supported file formats for images in the design library?
The following file formats are supported for images in the design library:
- JPG
- JPEG
- PNG
- GIF
