Add tracking code
Activate website tracking for all your event websites by adding your Google Analytics code to Backstage. You can get this code from your Administrator settings in your Google Analytics account. You can also use a Google Tag Manager code as your tracking code, which can be found in the Administrator settings of your GTM account.
Once your tracking code is active, you can get your event analytics from the Google Analytics application in the Events tab under the Behaviour section. To get the data in real time, visit the Real-time tab.
- Go to Portal Settings > Integrations > Website Visitor Tracking
- The Google Analytics section will be displayed.
- Click the Edit icon in the Tracking code textbox.
- Paste the tracking code which you can retrieve from your Google Analytics account.
- Click Done.
