Publish, Republish, and Manage Your Event Website | Zoho Backstage

Preview, Publish, Republish, and Unpublish Your Event Website

Once you’ve planned your event and designed your website, you’re ready to make it available to attendees. Zoho Backstage lets you preview your website before publishing, update it at any time, change its URL when needed, and take it offline after your event.

Previewing Your Event Website

Preview your website before publishing it to see how it will appear to attendees on desktop and mobile devices.

  1. Navigate to Design > Website from the Dock.
  2. Click Preview in the upper-right corner.
  3. The website opens in a new tab
  4. Use the desktop and mobile preview options to review your website experience before publishing.

IdeaTip: Share the preview URL with event team members to collect feedback before making the website live.

Previewing Changes

After your website is published, you can continue making changes and preview them before updating the live website.

  1. Make the required changes to your website.
  2. Click Preview in the upper-right corner.

The preview displays the latest unpublished version of your website without affecting the live website.

Publishing Your Event Website

Publishing makes your event website accessible to participants and allows them to register and participate in your event.

  1. Click Publish in the upper-right corner.
  2. Enter the website URL for your event.

  3. Click Publish.

After publishing, a confirmation message displays your live website URL. You can copy the URL or use the available sharing options to promote your event.

If you make changes after publishing, such as updating event information, speakers, sessions, tickets, or website content, you’ll need to republish the website to make those changes visible to attendees.

  1. Make the required updates.
  2. Click Republish in the upper-right corner.
  3. Click Publish.

Your latest changes will immediately be reflected on the live website.
