How to customize a microsite in Zoho Backstage

Event Gallery

Showcase images in the gallery and let attendees share their interest for them by liking or adding their thoughts through comments.

Note: You can also manage images in the Event gallery tab in the Content Library.

Add images to the gallery by easily uploading them from the Gallery page.



  1. Go to Design > Website, from the Dock. 
  2. Click Edit Website to open the Website Builder.
  3. Go to Gallery page from the Navigation Bar to open the Event Gallery page.
  4. Click the Upload button. 
  5. Select images from the resulting dialogue box and click Upload.
    Note: You can upload a maximum of 30 images at once.

Note: Any update made in the gallery does not have to be republished to the website. The gallery in the website will be automatically updated.

Image size limit

Less than 20MB 

Control if attendee can share images in the event gallery and set a time period for when this can be done.


  1. Go to Design > Website, from the Dock. 
  2. Click Edit Website to open the Website Builder.
  3. Go to Gallery page from the Navigation Bar to open the Event Gallery page.
  4. Hover your mouse over the Gallery section in the Website Designer and click on the Settings  icon. The Gallery Settings panel will appear.
  5. Under Settings tab, you can make changes to the Photo Upload Preferences as per your requirement.  
  6. Under Arrangement tab, you can manually alter the arrangement images in as per your requirement by simply dragging and dropping the images up and down.  
  7. Your changes will be saved automatically. 

Note: Attendees, can view, upload, and delete images of their own in the same gallery by accessing it in the website. They can also like and comment on any image.
 
Remove unnecessary gallery images.

Note: Deleted images can't be recovered.



  1. Hover over the image in the Gallery page of the event Website Designer. 
  2. Click . The Delete Image dialogue box appears.
  3. Click Delete.              



  1. Click the check mark at the top-left corner of the images in the Gallery page in the event Website Designer. 
  2. Click the Delete button at the top-right corner of the section. The Delete Images dialogue box appears.
  3. Click Delete.              



  1. Click the Download button in the Gallery page of the Website Designer. A download link of all the images in the gallery will be sent to your registered email address.

Easily share images from the event gallery to your social media for anyone to see.



  1. Click the  icon for an image in the Gallery page of the Website Designer.
  2. Select the Copy URL option to manually copy and paste the URL to share the image.
  3. Alternatively, select any social media site in the menu to directly share the image there.
 
Note: You can also share images from any gallery widget, which is added as a section, on your website.

The gallery is a paid feature enabled based on your subscription plan.
