Subdomain
Your portal subdomain forms the first part of your portal URL and is used for your portal event listing page. Updating the subdomain allows you to align your portal URL with your organization, brand, or event portfolio.
When you change the subdomain, the portal URL is updated immediately. Future event websites and portal-level pages will use the new URL. Make sure to review and update any portal links that you’ve shared externally after making this change.
Changing the Subdomain
- Navigate to the Portal Settings > Branding > Subdomain tab from the Portal page.
- Click Change Subdomain. A confirmation dialog will appear.
- Click the Agree button to proceed. The Change Subdomain dialog box will appear.
- Enter the new subdomain name in the text box provided.
- Click Change.
- Impact on URLs: Changing the subdomain name updates the links for your event listing page and all events in this portal.
- Existing Links: This change does not affect event links that have already been shared for promotional purposes.
By managing your subdomain effectively, you can ensure a cohesive and professional URL structure for your portal and events.
