How to set up an online payment method in Zoho Backstage

Online Payment

Collect payments from your online transactions by setting up a payment mode. Set up your payout details which include the country where you want to receive the payments, the payment gateway, and your organization details. 


  1. Go to Portal Settings > Payment > Payment Setups tab, from the Portal page
  2. Click the Set Up Online Payment button. The Add Payment Gateway panel will appear.
  3. Select your payout country from the Payout Country dropdown. The base currency you receive the payments in will be automatically set to the currency of the country you select here.
  4. Select one of the payment gateways from the list.
  5. Click Done. A panel opens in which you can continue setting up the payment gateway.
  6. Enter the required information to connect the payment gateway to your portal.
  7. Click Done.
Notes
Note:
  1. The payout country you select will determine which payment gateway options are available for you.
  2. You can't set a different base currency than what is associated by default for every payout country.

Add payment gateway

Connect your payment gateway to Backstage to process payments efficiently.



  1. Go to Portal Settings > Payment > Payment Setups tab, from the Portal page
  2. Click the Set Up Online Payment button. The Add Payment Gateway panel will appear.
  3. Select one of the payment gateways from the list.
  4. Click Done. A panel will be displayed in which you can continue setting up the payment gateway.
  5. Enter the required information to connect the payment gateway to your portal.
  6. Click Done
NotesNote: The payment gateway you've added last will be the default gateway for all your events.

Edit a payment gateway

Modify the details of a payment gateway that you are connect to.



  1.  Go to Portal Settings > Payment > Payment Setups tab, from the Portal page
  2. Select the Edit option from the dropdown to the right the payment gateway.
  3. Modify the details in the panel that appears.
  4. Click the Done button.

Remove a payment gateway

Switch back to an older payment gateway by deleting the more recent ones.

 
  1. Go to Portal Settings > Payment > Payment Setups tab, from the Portal page
  2. Select the Delete option from the dropdown to the right of the payment gateway. The Remove Payment Gateway dialog box will appear.
  3. Click Remove.

Remove payment mode

Change or update your payout details like the country and related currency or organization details by removing the current payment mode and setting up a new one. 




  1. Go to Portal Settings > Payment > Payment Setups tab, from the Portal page. Your payout details will be displayed at the top of the page.
  2. Click on the menu icon beside your configured payment gateways and details and click Delete.
  3. Enter your portal name in the resulting dialog box to confirm the action.
  4. Click Remove. 
NotesNote: The payment mode cannot be deleted if your portal contains paid orders.
