How to View and Export Session Questions in Zoho Backstage

Session Questions

Get the most out of your sessions by reviewing questions submitted by attendees. These questions can help you identify areas for improvement, refine your session material, and better understand your audience's interests.


Viewing Attendee Questions From a Session

To access the list of questions submitted during a session:
  1. Navigate to Manage > Sessions from the Dock.
  2. Click the View Details button next to the session you want to review.
  3. Go to the Questions tab of the session.
  4. Here, you can view:
    1. Answered questions – Questions that were addressed by the speaker or moderator.



    2. Unanswered questions – Questions that were not addressed during the session.  


Idea
Use the unanswered questions to follow up with attendees after the session or update your session materials accordingly.
Evaluate and Improve Your Content

Use the questions submitted to:
  1. Identify parts of your content that may need clarification or expansion.
  2. Understand which topics sparked the most curiosity or discussion.
  3. Prepare more targeted content for future sessions or events.
Notes
For example, if many attendees ask about a specific concept, consider adding a dedicated slide or resource to cover it in more detail next time.

Exporting Session Questions   


You can download all questions submitted during a session for documentation or internal review. To export the questions:
  1. Navigate to Manage > Sessions from the Dock.
  2. Click the View Details button next to the session you want to review.
  3. Go to the Questions tab of the session.
  4. Click the Export button in the top-right corner.
  5. This will download a spreadsheet containing:
    1. Each question submitted
    2. Whether it was answered or unanswered

Use the exported file to create an FAQ, prepare for follow-up sessions, or share insights with your team.
Info
  1. Only organizers and team members with the appropriate permissions can view or export session questions.
  2. Questions are visible only if the Q&A feature was enabled for the session.
