Overview
Sponsors play a key role in funding your events. To maximize sponsorships, you can create tailored sponsor categories with attractive benefits. This guide explains how to manage sponsor categories in Zoho Backstage.
- Navigate to Manage > Sponsors > Sponsor Category from the Dock.
- Click Edit.
Select Currency for your sponsorship prices. Enable the Hide Amount toggle to conceal the sponsor amount on the website, if necessary.
- Update the default category name in the Sponsor Categories section to match your event’s theme.
- Set the sponsorship amount in the Price field based on your funding goals.
- Click the Add Category button.
- Modify the Category Name as needed.
- To Rename, click on the Menu icon associated with a sponsor category and click Rename.

- Enter the name.
- Enter the desired sponsorship amount in the Price field.

- Click Save to confirm your changes.
- To rename a category, click the Options icon next to a category name and select Rename.
- Sponsor categories are automatically arranged from the lowest to the highest amount on both the sponsor category configuration page and the Sponsor Category widget in the website designer.
Provide sponsors with unique benefits ranging from advertising to event-day privileges.
- Navigate to Manage > Sponsors > Sponsor Category from the Dock.
- Click Add Benefits.
- Click Add Sponsor Benefit under the desired category.
- Enter the benefit details in the text box on the left.
- Use the dropdown menu to select predefined benefits or enter custom ones using the Text option.
- Use the following icons to manage benefits:
: Mark the benefit as valid for a category.
: Mark the benefit as invalid for a category.
Reordering Benefits
- Hover over a benefit and click the Options icon to the right.
- Select Move Up or Move Down to reorder.
Deleting a Benefit
- Hover over a benefit and click the Options icon.
- Select Remove, then confirm in the dialog box.
Remove a sponsor category from public view without deleting it.
- Navigate to Manage > Sponsors > Sponsor Category from the Dock.
- Click the Options icon next to a category.
- Select Don’t Show on Website. The hidden category will be marked with an eye icon.
Unhide a Category:
- Click the Options icon next to a sponsor category and select Show on Website.
Delete categories and reassign associated sponsors automatically to the basic category.
Remove a Single Category
- Navigate to Manage > Sponsors > Sponsor Category from the Dock.
- Click the Options icon next to a category.
- Select Remove, then confirm in the dialog box.
Remove All Categories
- Click the Delete link in the Sponsor Category tab.
- Confirm deletion in the Remove All Sponsor Categories dialog box.
Deleted sponsors are reassigned to the basic category.
