Create multiple unique discount codes in a single action and distribute them to attendees. Bulk codes are useful when offering individual discount codes to a large audience while maintaining separate redemption tracking for each code.
Generated codes inherit the same discount settings, validity period, and ticket class restrictions defined for the batch.
Generating Bulk Codes
Create a batch of unique discount codes with shared discount settings.
- Navigate to Registrations > Setup > Promo Codes > Generate Bulk Codes from the Dock.
- Click Generate Bulk Codes. The Generate Bulk Codes side panel will appear.

- Enter a unique name in the Code Batch Name field.
- Select the Discount Type and enter the Discount Value.
Choose whether the discount should apply to:
- All Ticket Classes (hidden ticket classes excluded), or
- Selected Ticket Classes.
- Enter the Number of Codes to Be Generated.
Optional: Open Advanced Settings and enter a:
- Prefix to be added at the beginning of each generated code.
- Postfix to be added at the end of each generated code.
- Select the Start Date and Time.
- Select the Expiration Date and Time.
- Optional: Select Allow discount on offer tickets to allow the discount to be used on tickets that already have an offer applied.
- Click Save.
Bulk Code Settings
- Code Batch Name: Unique identifier used to manage a batch of generated codes.
- Discount: Percentage-based or fixed amount discount applied when a generated code is redeemed.
- Discount Code Applies To: Determines which ticket classes are eligible for the discount.
- Number of Codes to Be Generated: Total number of unique discount codes that will be created in the batch.
- Prefix: Text added to the beginning of each generated code.
- Postfix: Text added to the end of each generated code.
- Validity Period: Defines when the generated codes become active and when they expire.
- Offer Settings: Allows generated codes to be applied to tickets that already have active offers.
- Each generated code is unique and can be redeemed independently.
- Hidden ticket classes cannot be selected when applying a bulk code batch to all ticket classes.
- Prefix and postfix values are optional.
- Generated codes can only be redeemed during their validity period.
- Generated codes inherit the settings configured for their batch.
Viewing Bulk Code Batches
View information about generated code batches and track their usage.
- Navigate to Registrations > Setup > Promo Codes > Generate Bulk Codes from the Dock.
The list includes:
- Batch name
- Total codes
- Redemption count
- Validity period
- Applicable ticket classes
- Current status
Bulk code batches can have the following statuses:
- Active: The codes are available for redemption.
- Paused: The codes are temporarily unavailable for redemption.
Use the search, filter, sort, and column customization options to quickly find and organize bulk code batches.
Viewing Generated Codes
View all codes that belong to a specific batch.
- Navigate to Registrations > Setup > Promo Codes > Generate Bulk Codes from the Dock.
- Click the more options icon beside a batch.
- Click View.
- Open the Promo Codes tab.
All generated codes belonging to the selected batch will be displayed.
Editing a Bulk Code Batch
Modify the settings of an existing bulk code batch.
- Navigate to Registrations > Setup > Promo Codes > Generate Bulk Codes from the Dock.
- Click the more options icon beside a batch.
- Click Edit.
- Update the required settings.
- Click Save.
- The number of generated codes cannot be modified after the batch is created.
- Existing generated codes will continue to use the updated batch settings.
- Changes only affect future redemptions.
Pausing a Bulk Code Batch
Temporarily disable all codes within a batch without deleting them.
- Navigate to Registrations > Setup > Promo Codes > Generate Bulk Codes from the Dock.
- Click the more options icon beside a batch.
- Click Pause.
Attendees will no longer be able to redeem any code from the batch until it is reactivated.
Exporting Generated Codes
Download the generated codes within a batch for distribution or record keeping.
- Navigate to Registrations > Setup > Promo Codes > Generate Bulk Codes from the Dock.
- Click the more options icon beside a batch.
- Click View.
- Open the Promo Codes tab.
- Click Export.
- Optional: Select Password protect the file and enter a password.
Choose a file format:
- Click Export.
- Exported files can be protected using a password.
- Passwords are not stored and cannot be recovered.
- Generated codes are exported individually, not as batch summaries.
Deleting a Bulk Code Batch
Remove a bulk code batch that is no longer required.
- Navigate to Registrations > Setup > Promo Codes > Generate Bulk Codes from the Dock.
- Click the more options icon beside a batch.
- Click Delete.
- Confirm deletion in the dialog box.
- A bulk code batch can only be deleted if none of its generated codes have been redeemed.
- Batches with one or more redemptions cannot be deleted.
